I wonder if the James Dean Spyder is going to be labled as "Little Bastard" or if it's just a "tribute" type car. Reason I ask is because Dean's Spyder had red interior.

If those Porsche 993s are 1/18, it will indeed be an expensive year. Otherwise, I'm safe.

WOW!  Very nice but...

What happened to the 1/18 934 RSR that they showed at the Toy Fair last year?  I hope they still have plans to release it sometime in the near future.

Schuco may get alot of my money if they actually realease all of these Porsche's this year!    :occasion14:

very nice...wonder if the 280SL will come with the "Pagoda" hard top?

Nice to see the 993's as well, although I'm still pretty happy with my UT's.

I wonder how much the 993's will be ? I guess about £120 ($190) or so. I do still like my UT cars, but I do want a model with mega detailing!

F**k you Photobucket.

Please feel free to check out my 1/18 collection HERE

I hope that James Dean car is the prototype.
As the real little bastard had red interior.
I'm dying for a super detailed "little bastard"
But I'm gutted that they went through all the trouble to make it that detailed yet get something simple like the colour of the seats wrong!!
:(
Might aswell have the number '120' on it instead of '130'

Interesting. I wonder how they'd compare with the UT molds if we ever see these.

For sure will be a class up to UT. I have few models from Schuco and they are doing their job very good.

The UT molds are really good on the 993 imho. My guess is that the biggest improvement will be around the interior, brakes, engine.

Both of those cars re-released in UT quality would be fantastic. Any improvements would be icing on the cake :10:

Agreed.  They just elevate the 1:18 brands with finer attention to detail.

Exactly.  But what are we willing to pay for these upgrades?

I saw the GT2 listed on GPL's website the other day, I think it was £269!  I know GPL are pricey, but that price is nuts!!

I do think though that as we've not heard anything since Nurnburg Toy Fair things aren't looking too good.

F**k you Photobucket.

I wouldn't worry about the future of these models just yet. After all, Schuco only announced these models 3 months ago and showed us some pics of the real car instead of a mold-in-progress. Somehow I would find it very strange if we were shown a near finished model at Nuremberg, but no release date was announced.
Let's just sit back and wait another year 'till the next Nuremberg show. If by then they cannot show us a mold in progress, then I will be worried...

I think they are 1:43. I hope Schuco releases the white one soon since prices on UT 993 GT2 Evo White are just unreal.
