I think I got a good game for us to play this week.

All you have to do to win this lovely prize is to guess, to the nearest USD cent, the final hammer price of the following ebay auction which ends in about ~6 days from now.
http://www.ebay.com/...3#ht_500wt_1413

You can be under or over the guess it’ll be the one closest to the final price (excluding shipping costs) that wins the game. So as long as there is one guesser there will be a winner! So do not make it easy on your fellow DX’r and forget to make a guess.

The rules:
Just like game show, “The Price Is Right” you must post your guess in this thread for all to see,  you can go over or under but it will be closest to the final price that wins the prize.
No duplicate guesses, I will keep a running log and notify those that have posted a duplicate entry that they must change their amount, the first poster will get to keep their amount/guess.
Only DX members registered prior to the start of the auction are eligible.
You only get a single guess.
Please, no edits as the auction time approaches. So make it a good one! All entries must be made no later than 10 minutes before auction close (no exceptions) and I will post everyone’s guess before the auction ends so you can either celebrate your win or know which winning DX’r you should loathe! LOL
This contest is open to all DX members and the prize includes shipping to your door regardless of country.

Disclaimer: DX is not responsible for the prize, I am the party responsible for packing and shipping of the prize and I will provide you with a tracking number. Should anything go wrong with the shipment please discuss it with me first. The auction was selected at random, I do not know the seller nor have any information as to the expected selling price of the item so your guess is as good as mine. The seller was someone selected at random but only sellers with +500 transactions or above were selected to prove they are a bona fide seller. Rules may be subject to change should I receive feedback regarding clarification of the auction or rules, any changes will be communicated in this thread. The hammer must fall on the auction and should the seller remove the item from sale a different auction will be selected. Should the winner prefer a cash equivalent of $20 usd instead of the model please notify me of that upon confirmation of your win. Should the winner choose cash the payout will be made via PayPal."

The prize? a brand new in box 1:43rd Hot Wheels Elite F430 blue w/cream interior. It's a gorgeous model and hopefully gets you hooked on 1:43rd if you aren't already!:

So get your guess in asap before you forget. :occasion14: :wavetowel2:

Driving an automatic and thinking you're a skilled driver is like playing Guitar Hero and thinking you can play guitar.

Serious collectors don't buy budget models? Hahahaha...that's the stupidest thing I've ever heard
