My friends in school started calling me Dr. Chuck during anatomy and biology labs because my skill with the scalpel was pretty good.  People usually call me Chuck but after a while everyone started to call me Dr. Chuck.  It gets a lot of people confused and some doctors get offended, since I'm not a doctor yet.

My first ID was Bavro87 (E-mail address), that is short for my name: BArt VROomen and my birth year: 1987. Now I mostly use BVR, that stands also for the first letters of my name: B for Bart and VR for Vroomen
:angel:

Hey, is VROOMen a cool last name for a car guy or what!

Well, despite what you all might think I'm not a Mclaren Supercar nut.  My ID came from a highschool friend who mixed my first and last names together.  People come up with some interesting nicknames when there are 4 Aarons/Erins in 1 class.

Aaron + McLean = McLearen

The bonus is that being such a unique spelling I never have trouble logging on to new forums or starting accounts. ;-)

My sig tells it all..

Im a big movie fan..and the 2 things that appeal most in movies to me are...

1. Nazis getting killed, beaten up, shot, stabbed...ala Indiana Jones bringing down the beat shtick..

2. Post-apocalyptic peckerwoods getting owned on the road by terminal crazies like Max in his V8 man!!

I stole mine from an old SNL skit from around the time Jaws came out:

Ding-dong

Lady: Who is it?

Voice: Flowers.

Lady: Flowers for who?

Voice: Candygram.

Lady: Yeah right, Your that nasty Landshark, aren't you?

Voice: Just a dolphin ma'am.

Lady: Oh, why didn't you say so...

Lady opens door, and is eaten by Landshark
:jk:

I also use it as the name for my Fantasy Football team, my other passion.

Calgary = where I live
7 = BMW 7 Series that I drive (among others)
'er = Driver

No one would understand if I went by Gruffity Gruesome (my Four year old Weimaraner's name)

Thanks SM, The house is kind of full especially with Gruff's playmate Abbee (Three Year old Airedale Terrier that my girlfriend named, I wanted Horrible Helga but was voted down)

You can also see the girlfriends influence with adding accessories to dogs, why do they do that  :?  :?  :?  :?  :?

That's why I love the SL500. Put the roof down and both ride perfectly in the back storage area. During the Winter I have a dog gaurd installed in the Infiniti so it's only three windows to clean :sm:

Mine is plain,
Collector just means I collect, and I hate to admit it but I couldnt think of anything at the time so I bummed off of DiecastX's name by using the same X after the name.

I took the name from Mad Max.. his v8 interceptor.. Mad Max had the best car sequences to date in my opinion.. the way they had the camera inches away from the asphalt just made you feel like you were right there speeding along..

Wow I haven't posted in a while... so many new threads, so little time to read...

I too got my nickname from the Simpsons. If anyone remembers the New York episode when Homer found his car at the WTC with 50 or so parking tickets, some guy goes up to him and offered either crab juice or Mountain Dew. Of course, he chose the crab juice. And that name stuck eversince...  :mrgreen:
