Ok, just took some photos of my bike collection. They're nowhere near the magazine quality photos shown on DX, but thought I'll post some pics of my collection in this otherwise relatively quiet section of DX.
For those interested in bikes, hope you enjoy them nevertheless.

I know nothing at all about bikes, but I do recognise the blue Yamaha YZF R1 (or yours looks like an R5?)

Only because I have the bburago version

You're right, that is an R1. Good thing about bikes is that you can actually afford to get a superbike if you desire one, unlike supercars where you'd need to win a lottery to do so most of the time.

And if you're like me, an almost certain death :giggle:

Awesome bike collection you got there!    Sadly I only have one.  It is a red Ducati from Maisto.

A nice collection but that Duke, together with the bicycle do not fit the theme.

I originally wanted to put 'bike' in the thread's title, but accidentally typed 'superbike', and can't change it now. Yes, the Duke, race bike and bicycle does not fit the theme which is why I placed them at the end. I took photos of them as they are also 1/12 scale and didn't want to start another topic just for them. Something different I guess.

Very nice collection Supercars! That's a lineup of the best from Maisto. I used to have a some of them, but they were stolen :(
I really would like to add that R1 and the RSV. Who makes that Honda racer? It looks very cool in those respol shades.

IMHO, Maisto does a great job with their bikes, but the lack of clear plastic stop lenses and other minor details drives me up the wall - but for the money, I can't complain much and they look good on the shelf.
NewRay also makes some great bikes, unfortunately NewRays quality has really fallen over the years. That said, I can highly recommend their Ducatis - they look excellent and except for the big screws, they are excellent value for money.

Hey don't they look impressive when all lined up together like that!   Great collection Danny, and seeing that Repsol livery has suddenly reminded me that I have one somewhere, having found one at a car boot sale......but I've not seen it since!   :lamende:   I wonder where that went?? :icon_scratch:

Cool, I didn't know your model collection extend to bikes as well. This is going to be a bit random but I think we have the same floor tiles, they are an absolute bitch to clean.

Thanks rosso. Yours is 1/18 right? Great looking (little) bike.

Thanks. I've been considering getting some road bikes from Minichamps, but as you mentioned, Maisto seem to have a better selection of road bikes that interests me. Looking to get the diavel too.

Thank you. Hope you have built up your collection back again. The repsol is from newray. You're right, I also prefer Maisto over Newray. Maisto bikes are more detailed and just looks better to me (which is why I have so many of them).

Thanks eddy. I saw the repsol at a newsagent while waiting for someone, and obviously bought it.

Thanks mate. Yeah, I like bikes as well, mainly superbikes though. In fact, anything that have wheels on it, I'm likely to have some sort of interest. I've got a snowmobile somewhere too I think. Need to find it.
lol, the tiles are difficult to clean and I think you can see it from the pics.

Cool collection! Maisto bikes have some decent detail for the money, I just wish they'd hurry up with the damn Panigale!

Also +1 on actually being able to afford superbikes! I have near enough supercar performance with the soundtrack of an old school Ferrari for a small fraction of the price which is awesome. Especially considering that at my age it costs me about £1500 just to insure a 1 litre car :lamende:
