I have posted pics of these before but they were a bit rubbish, also these are what brought me to DX which then got me into collecting diecast again!

First up is the Italeri Ducati 999 #21 Troy Bayliss in 1:9 scale. This is their ready made diecast collection they have, Great detail and I'll hopefully get the Desmosedici RR at some point too

Next up is the Maisto world superbike collection. First are the two Troy Bayliss 1098's (my favourites)

Posted Image

1098 of Nori Haga and Fabrizio (I still believe it was Fabrizio's fault that Haga didn't win the title that year)

Posted Image

Ducati 999 #55, 100 and 11

Posted Image

Ducati 999 #1 James Toseland

Posted Image

Lastly, Ducati 749 (supersport)

There are a couple of riders missing but I got bored collecting the same liveries. I wish they carried on making the WSBK bikes

Superb SBK Ducati collection :) Your sunny pictures brought a smile to my face.
I will definately be loosing sleep because of those two Bayliss bikes, mostly because the ultra rare white one. Oh how I envy you :)

Thank you for the kind comments! :occasion14:

The white Bayliss (Philip Island livery) was hard to find, there are some buy it now for around £30. I managed to win mine from someone in the UK. I really wish someone would make a proper detailed version!

Thanks Mairandeddy! #11 was ridden by Rueben Xaus who also did this

It's not a Revell kit, it's an Italeri assembly kit. All pre painted and stickered, you just screw it together and cut the brake lines to size. Take a look at some of the Italeri and Protar 1:9 bikes they are really good. But beware as some are model kits and not diecast

excellent bikes.i had a look at some of them protar bikes, but was never sure about the quality of them,as they did some in 1/10 scale which would have gone with the others in my collection.

To be honest if you want proper detail then minichamps is the only way to go although their range is 99% bikes with the yellow 46 on the front :lamende: I wish more companies would make diecast bikes

Nice collection there!  I am quite a Troy Bayliss and WSBK fan myself.  Rememberin' that "wonder from down under" and his days when he was still teamed up with Carl "Foggy" Fogarty.  What a formiddable pair.  Sad that both of them have now retired...
