Hi all, just finishing a custom 1:18 Minichamps Focus RS & am changing the wheels to scale 20" BBS Y spoke wheels. The original alloys were screwed on & the new ones need to be glued on (i suspect).
Question is what glue do you guys recommend as this is a pretty heavy model & the contact patch on the 'hubs' is very small? The new wheels centres are very thin & not able to drill them to accept the original screw to attach.
Any help much appreciated.

This should allow you to drill the wheel centres without worrying about stress failure.
I have a diecast 1967 Sunray DX Corvette and I had to use foam supports under the axles to avoid unintended wheel camber.
And these are the original wheels......

I found the manual on the Focus RS forum and finished the modification of my Minichamps Focus RS ...
I drilled the wheels in the centercaps and took the wheels off.
This modelcar has real springs and I found a way to lower it, Placed new drilled brake discs and finaly the new 19" BBS wheels.
The steering (left/right) is still working, only the wheels don't turning around but it's not a toy so it doesn't mather
I'm happy with the result.
