I never paid attention to the fact that Maisto had an exclusive on the W220....that's too bad.  Their model is just ok, but it really stands out (not in a good way) against the much nicer Norevs.

ohhh nice... thanks for the link i am quite tempted by it too and the international postage doesnt seem too bad. I wonder what happened to that no box Norev W222 listing that was asking for $200++ from a while back. Wonder if any sucker bought it.

So this is without a doubt the best Norev model I've ever seen or owned. Norev really stepped up the quality level here. It's like a mixture of Kyosho and Autoart in paint and details, but with the weight of one those Minichamp Bentleys. Great job Norev!

What are the shut lines like ? on some of the pics online the ones on the bonnet (hood) don't look so nice, so I was leaning towards a darker shade car. The lines look good from your pic though.

F**k you Photobucket.

Shut line are excellent! I've always thought Norev had good subjects in vehicles, but executed them like toys (maybe a notch or two above Maisto). But the for this new Mercedes they stepped up to Kyosho level, with a little mixture of the Autoart. And the car's weight is pushing Minichamp (heavy). They only miss out on Autoart level by not having the correct trunk and hood hinges, but the interior is beautifully detailed with the beige wood look on the doors and console (lots more wood in the 2014 S-Class). Doors shut tight on its on with a slight push and don't swing open why tilt the model. Actually the hood's shut lines are very tight. You actually have to push a button under the model (like with the Minichamp Bentleys) to get enough space to open up the bonnet. And the lines on the doors going into the front side fenders are beautifully aligned. The flakes in the metallic grey aren't too big at all. the dealer model has monitors on the back of the front seats like the Kyosho 7-series BMWs. And one back seat even has a movable folding desk like the BMW Individual. Great model and well detailed. But I can say about it is that it doesn't look "toyish" at all.

Those stock photos are better than any photo I can take. You can't see how metallic the car is those photos, and I think the silver is bit darker to the naked eye.

Oh, the tailpipes are left off on the dealer model for some reason. You have to snap those on yourself (real easy). I had to look at photo of the actual car though to see which was right and left. And the dealer version gives you a nice white glove and a full long phillips screwdriver! Nice touches!

As far as exclusive rights go I only know maisto is the only one to produce it in 1:18
That would be my favorite.
