Hello everyone,

As a 1:18 scale model car collector, I used to collect 1:18 scale motorcycles. However, after seeing 1:10 scale motorcycles in person, I started to collect motorcycles in the scale of 1:10 and I'd like to show you the photos of my 1:10 scale models by Welly.

Here are the photos, hope you like them:

I own only one 1/10th scale motorcycle, it's a Welly Triumph Daytona 675. And it would definitely not be my last Welly in this size, as there are a couple more that I'd like. I would say given the prices I've seen on ebay, they are indeed nice budget models, although I expected a bit more given the size which allows for a bit more detail. Still I love mine which is in a Black (dealer only color), I can recommend to you checking the Triumph Motorcycles outlet store, there are still some left at the insanely low price of £6.

Isn't that a rather odd scale ? Looks like to me that the different manufacturers offer very different collections and the quality is all over the place.

First of all, thank you. I checked the website, £6 is good price for the model. However, the delivery costs £11,50 :)

And yes, 1:10 is not as common as 1:18, 1:12 scales.

Yeah with delivery £11,5 it's only OK if you're ordering more stuff. I bought it with some other models and some merchandise so the delivery was OK.

Pleased to hear that people are happy with the quality of the 1:10 Welly models.  I'm about to buy my first of that brand without being able to see it in person (Ebay purchase) and it was a little worrying to buy sight unseen.

I'm sure you won't be disappointed because they're very good for the price.

(Well, maybe you've already got your model. You posted the message on May 26th.)

Not yet.  When I get it I'll post a picture.  Add to the thread content a little.
