That is a great looking model, and that color combination is SO 1970s.  I doubt there'll be any of these around by the time I get the cars at the top of my want list, and it doesn't really fit in with my other European cars that well, but I really like it and I want it!

Well, if Scuddy or anyone else wants one from Tacot, I can only advise that have all the details of the purchase verified in advance.  I say that as I had a bad experience with them.  I ordered 4 models from Tacot over a year ago, and the website quoted me a reasonable cost to ship the models to me in the US and I paid with a Visa charge.  Then Tacot emailed me to inform me that the shipping was actually a lot higher.  It wasn't worth it to me at the much higher shipping price, so I canceled the order.  But, using the excuse that they use some outside company to process the charge cards, they told me that they didn't have my charge card info to process the refund and needed it again,  So I gave it to Tacot and, instead of a refund, they charged me for the additional shipping.  Why?  Because he had supposedly already mailed the package with the models!  I say "supposedly" as the package never reached me.  Tacot stated that it was delivered to my home, but I never received it and as anyone on this or the Scale18 board know only have models sent to my office address.  I assume they were covered by insurance for any loss.  I worked through my Visa issuer and got a full refund of all charges.

Now, this was only my one experience and I'm sure that many others have had good dealings with Tacot (just like some have had trouble with Modelissimo while I've never had a problem), so take it with a grain of salt.

That brown is very pretty on the Renault. I have resisted this model thus far, telling myself I'd only get one in the very unlikely chance one is released with the "LeCar" logos on the sides. This brown one may just make me change my mind!
