Spark produces high quality sealed resin models in 1:43, 1:18, 1:24 (which is cancelled now), 1:87 and maybe other scales.
It has very vast range of models (probably biggest in car model industry) for any taste.

There are even sub-brands for specific themes:
  • Spark - main branch;
  • Bizarre - for bizarre subject matter and record cars;
  • Dip Models - for Soviet / Russian / Eastern Block car models;
  • Redline - for Ferrari models;
  • Reve - not sure.
I made this thread to see which models would you like to see Spark to produce in 1:18 scale.
Almost entire 1:18 line up is made of race cars. For 1:18 Spark chooses only models which it have been done in 1:43 before.
So technically this thread is which 1:43 Spark models should be produced in 1:18 scale but as I said before the range is so vast there is something for everyone.

For me these Lancias please

Lancia ECV. I have it in 1:43 and it is amazing!

Lancia Beta Montecarlo. The one pictured is 1979 Giro d'Italia Automobilistico version. It is new release.

Taken from Scale143 Forum (posted by user philsaunders):

This is what Walter Rohrl had to say about Villeneuve and the disqualification, from "Lancia 037, the development & rally history of a World Champion" by Peter Collins:
"One year I had Gilles Villeneuve as a partner. He would do the races and I did the stages and road sections. At Imola the first circuit, Patrese beat him so he was very unhappy and said to me, 'the overnight halt is in Rimini, it's not far, I will drive the car there to get used to starting and driving it.' I said ok but Christian Geistdorfer, my co-driver had to stay with the car. When we met again in Rimini, he told me, 'at every traffic light with Gilles it was revs up to 8000 rpm, drop the clutch and whoosh...! Then Gilles said he was bored with that and they might as well take the autostrada to Rimini.' The rules specifically stated it was forbidden to do this. "Next day we race at Misano and Patrese wins again. Gilles is fed up, climbs into his helicopter and leaves. So I had to drive the whole of the rest of the event. Gilles had driven the car like crazy so it wouldn't run under 3000rpm, and the turbo lag was so bad I put my foot down and counted 1,2,3 before the power arrived." "Anyway, the final race was at Monza and we had to push the car through the city before. It was very difficult, but we won the race and when we arrived back at Turin we found we had won overall. Then, at the prize-giving, Moretti, who had been driving a Porsche 935, protested our car for the Autostrada affair and we were disqualified!!"

hell yes to both those :)

Spark is my favourite 1:43 brand and produce so many great cars it'll be difficult not to swamp this thread in one post, but I'll stick with two cars for now.

1. Jaguar XJR8 LM 1987

2. Gulf Aston Martin Vantage GT3 Spa 2012

How about that 1990 jaguar Le Mans winner? That is such a monster glaring hole in the available LM winners of that era! Please fix the hole :)

Spark, you certainly are doing well on my requests! (2 for3) Now how about that 1981 LM winning Porsche 936 (well, and the 1976 winner) in 1:18? While you're at it, why not just make sure that all Le Mans podium placers for all years in all classes are available in 1:18. I'll buy them all eventually... Let me know about the release dates asap ;)

Inspired by Alex SZ1996 posting up pics of his Revell TVR Sagaris, how about some 1/18 TVRs?  The Sagaris and Mk1 Tuscan S road cars, and the utterly gorgeous T400R Le Mans cars in the Synergy and DeWalt liveries please!  The DeWalt car in 1/43 was my first Spark model, I'm willing to trade some vital organs to have any of those in Spark-quality 1/18.

good shout on the TVRs, something mainstream diecast manufacturers would never consider releasing, but ideal for Resin manufacturers like Spark

I asked Spark about the 1981 winning car. That no one has bothered to make a LeMans winning Porsche in 1/18, And they could be the first to do it. They passed the idea to their production team, That was some 9-10 months ago now. So who knows.

Spark, If you do read this PLEASE make this model Happen.

Seems a no brainer that the 1981 winner in 1/18 would be a successful venture. It's the most beautiful of the 936s... Fingers crossed!

I got the same response on the TVRs.  And on other models I suggested a few years back that they haven't made in 1/18 (though I was out on a limb with those).  I suspect it's their polite way of saying "thanks, but actually we know what we're doing here..."

I really hope they make this one in 1/18.  I have the silver/yellow one in 1:18 so would like to add a 1:18 silver/blue next to it.

Have Spark become the new TSM with their release dates?

In all fairness, They do seem to be getting their 2017 models made quickly.

I emailed them in late 2016 asking if they could make that.  They replied saying my suggestion would be forwarded to project development for consideration.  Nearly 2 years later nothing...

If they are reading this, I will buy 3 of them to match the 3 different numbered cars (#4, #5, and #6).

That seems to be their standard reply to every suggestion.  I've given up messaging them, seems they're happy with the models they already make.  You might get lucky and they'll release it one day anyway.
