Isn't it amalgam instead?

If it's not die-cast, it won't have a crumple zone

I got the info from my local dealer but I'm pretty certain it's BBR. Even the photography looks like all the other BBR promo shots.

That said, I wonder why produce a 1/12 resin? If it had opening parts I can understand but if its sealed then its just gonna be a larger version of the 1/18...which doesn't really justify the price tag....at around $1800.

What ???? a 1/12 by BBR ! didn't see that one coming.  I guess those who collect the Ferrari supercars in 1/12 can continue with the LaFerrari

Emptying my bank account as we speak.

sorry to say this, but a 1:12 resin model is just lame imo. I'm sure a high-end diecast brand will make a decent LaFerrari in both 1:18 and 1:12, within a few years. Just like what had happened to Enzo.
Feel free to have a look of my collection on DX.

The Enzo they done was fantastic. I was devastated that the one I had was a wreck.
I need a 1:12 in my collection and LaFerrari would be a worthy model.

Because BBR can charge more $ and it cost them less to make. Honestly I don't see how BBR can charge over 1000 Euro for this? It is nice but it isn't worth more than double the price of a Tamiya model. Now I am really hoping Tamiya to bring out a 1/12 LaFerrari.

I'm happy I snatched up the concept version, this one looks a little cheap

And there's this little Fiat, apparently a tribute to Ferrari (in striping I presume)

Not really, I buy BBR's for their Ferrari's and maybe some Alfa's, and mostly because of the great paint and colors, the stingray seems more like AUTOart material to e, even the first 3 colors are standard issue diecast stuff

It will come in at least 3 shades, priced €185 - 225 range, so yes, same as the Blue Moon 4cs

If it's not die-cast, it won't have a crumple zone
