Anyone plan to purchase this car? I just found out the price is $650 CAD plus tax. Very tempted but probably won't be able to afford it until the end of the year (even if I can afford it, I'm still undecided on it). The good thing is that it's not a limited numbered production, so I can wait. The bad thing obviously is the price (for me at least). It would be awesome to have it displayed next to the F40 and F50, but it's just too :shutup expensive.

If anyone is getting it soon, a review would be greatly appreciated! :cheers

PS My local store is actually sold out of his shipment. In fact, he has a waiting list for it.

I'm saving up for this beauty as we speak. Quite a chunk of change, isn't it? :happy

I believe Dr. Jeff *VEGASRACER* has one on order. I'm sure he'll give us a nice run down on it once it arrives. :cheers

Souky speaketh the truth... the dealer emailed me with a note that the car is essentially not a diecast, and asked if I still wanted the model. Of course I said yes. I got the impression that it should be coming within a month's time if not sooner. Once I get it, you'll know about it!

kkwhung: yeah..I want to get one too... I also want to get it to display it right next to my F40 and F50.

vegasracer: yeah.. I think the car is not a diecast.; According to the website, it's " it's combining a variety of high-quality materials including ABS resin cowling, die-cast metal engine, metallic mesh grille and synthetic rubber tires "

so the body is resin???
and we can imagone how much the BBR 1.18 is gonna cost... :p

Great! Looking forward to your reviews guys! :cheers

If it's made of plastic, then I really need some reviews and justification to get one. Looks like I may try my luck and see if Kyosho will make it.

As a side note, the 1/18 BBR Enzo apparently will retail for somewhere around what Exoto is asking for a standard 1/18 models.
The fact that it will be mostly plastic doesn't concern me at all. Tamiya's Masterworks Collection is plastic as well, and those assembled models are works of art, as well as being expensive to boot. I'm taking the attitude that the Enzo will be a 1:12 Masterworks.

yeah, Tamiya are works of art, but the prices are sky high!!!!!

Even the BBR Enzo may be too expensive for me ,looks like I have to make do with Hot Wheels :box
What's wrong with plastic? The real car is plastic (well, cf) too :giggle
