I thought the 458 Speciale looked really naff when I saw pics of it, but then I saw a pic of one on the road & realised I quite like it.

I'm pretty sure they'll sell out quick, so I'll probably pick one up.

Heard that they are gonna be ready in Q2 2014 for the LF. Hopefully it goes for the 458-S too. You left out the 355 Spider mate :p

That's great news!! I also checked out the cult classics line up....They have the Aston Martin DB5 from Goldfinger there as coming soon
I hope that they will make it with all the gadgets like the AUTOart one. There's also the charger from F&F there...

This is a surprising news!! I'm pretty sure it will be better than the Autoart one from 12 years ago. Does this also mean that the Autoart price of the 007 version will go down?

Great news on the Speciale and LaFerrari, I gotta admit the Speciale is slowly growin on me, and I wont let these slip by, I had to hunt down the Scuderias at prices I dont care much to discuss haha, this time things will be different for both the Speciale and LaFerrari. Any news on additional release of 458 Spyders? I saw that a red one with cream interior was previewed.

Half opened windows on a LaFerrari will be just ridiculous. Ok, I can respect that this is the flag of Elite models (despite being always ugly) but on this model it will be purely unacceptable. The Enzo by HWE was built on their beginnings ,and it is really a let down in terms of quality, but they've chosen not to put windows at all on it. So I hope that they will put fully sealed ones on the LaFerrari. Also, the importance of this model makes it necessary for HWE to reach AUTOart quality for once, so they must get rid of doglegs, put proper hinges and replicate the rear wing. If they do these stuff I won't mind paying a bit more for such an extraordinary piece.

I am looking forward to the Laferrari from Hot Wheels because I think the model deserves to be made with opening parts but I agree. I would not mind paying more to have a HWE LaFerrari without the huge & ugly dog legged hinges, half opened windows and glue stains here and there on the models. And real mesh instead of plastics...they use the same craps on their super elite lines and charge 200-300 usd for it how rediculous :/ I hope Hot Wheels is reading this..hahaha!!

Looking forward to both.

The La Ferrari, despite the daft name, has grown on me - a worthy halo car for them.

The 458 Speciale leaves me a bit cold now but I'll give it a chance and it'll look good next to my 430 Scud I daresay.

I think they have been doing quite well lately. All my elites have photo etched mesh everywhere (unlike my Minichamps Benzos) The half opened windows can be annoying, but its their thing and I got over it.

P.S. Just to add. Is the 355 Spider confirmed?
Yes, the Spider is confirmed, but not the GTS :(

If Norev, Welly and even some Maisto's can do workable parts on their car why not Mattel? Mattel could have been like AUTOart since they had advantage of making any Ferrari replica's in 1/18 but they did not and maintained their price for years.

No surprise on both models, but still looking forward to them. Can't wait for the first photos of the LaFerrari
