I'm so used to Minichamps only releasing sealed 992 Porsches, I thought that one was sealed as well.

I see what you mean about the brake discs, but to me personally the lack of carpet/flocking is more of a deal breaker than that. Edit: does it have any interior flocking btw?

Edit: I just went on the CLDC site and checked out the Minichamps 992 range, and I must say, $264 is a very steep price for that level of quality.

Minichamps has both versions of the anniversary 992 Turbo-S in the market.
But the opening diecast seems to be offered in Asia only - very well in line with the strategy Minichamps‘ founder explained to us.

Meanwhile I found a German online dealer offering those for 250€.
Too much if you ask me - especially as I do not like this anniversary livery or the colours which come with this special edition…
Yeah, that must be Minichamps' "best models for the Asian market only" that Paul Lang was bragging about on that interview posted on another thread.

I also just found a eBay German seller asking about €260 for these. Definitely not worth it, that's AutoArt price range and despite AA being made of ABS, Minichamps just can't beat AA in the finesse department.
