Awesome car. I may have to shoot my #26 now. As far as getting a red one, good luck. Those a few and far between. Did I mention mega $$$ as well?

I'd rather take the blue/white car though :confused
:iagree

Funny you mention it. The white Cobra Daytona was also my first Exoto purchase, but I wasn't entirely pleased with it as I wanted the guardsman blue & white #26 Cobra Daytona. I took the white version back the next day and put in an order for the #26 car. Of course, that was a long time ago and both cars are now long gone....

Go for one of each color:

There are only one white and one red (plus my red is autographed by Carroll Shelby, himself-no, it is not the Exoto tampo fake autograph):

:cheers

How many versions of this model are there?

For whatever reason, I am looking for a street version of this car in Dark Gray.

Something like this:

Beautiful model, Richard - white is a color you don't usually associate with these, but it looks great!

Darrick, that is a replicar that is more of a "representation" than a "replicar".
It is done with the involvement of Pete Brock who was the original designer of the 64/65 car but this is a more modern approach.
Even 40 years later it is still a stunning design :happy

As far as models, there are too many to list.
Exoto really mikled this mould to death.
Yat Ming is making it and now Shelby collectibles has realeased an excellent example of it.

The closest to what you want is this one...

Jeff,

I was looking at that one similar to that on eBay.

Does Exoto make a unliveried version?

Whatr price ranges am I going to be looking at with them?

Exoto makes a unpainted, brushed aluminum looking one that is almost always in the $100+ range.

This silver metalic painted one from Shelby Collectibles is around $30.

The Exoto is better but to my eye, not 3.5 times better.

Tye one in my picture is the S/C version
