Here is Ertl's new 2001 skyline, its ok, but no over the moon about it, looks flash from a distance, but up close you can pick little things here and there, Im just upset that the back number plate sticker is on crooked. :ranting

That was 1 of the first things I noticed, very high.

:cheers

but needs a bit of work to better it, would it be easy to lower?
<{POST_SNAPBACK}>[/post]
Thanks RW, yeah should be easy to lower, I'll just drop a brick on it, still mad about the number plate as you see :box :giggle

Its like that on mine and each one ive seen, is Ertl doing a half ar$ed job to this then, and the eclypse spyder has the same problem with the ride hight.

Thanks for the info Mr V, it sure is poor on ERTL's behalf if all are like that.
:cheers
I'm most disappointed with the engine detail. I'm sure that a Skyline tuned to over 600bhp will have a few more pipes, wires and other bits than what's shown in that model.
G
I've ordered one of these(before I read this thread I might add).I love Skylines and love the paint job on this. The engine does look fairly standard though.
I'm one of those F and the F tragics so it's a must have.(yeah I know it's a crap movie but for some strange reason I like it) :silly:
Cheers,
Tony.

Tony I dont think the movies crap, as I liked both movies as well, yes not a lot of peoples cup of tea, but least you honest.

The car it self is ok, as I have about 14 or so F&F cars from both movies, the main let down is how high they sit, but great for display.

Yeah,I'm hoping to collect all the cars eventually.Apparently the 3rd movie is due out next year(Fast and the Furious:Tokyo Drift) so even more cars to collect!Cool!
:confused ...Is this model's new in Australia?????
<{POST_SNAPBACK}>[/post]
Nope, if you look at the date of 1st post "Oct 2 2004" so not new, but can be found for around $60au now.

I just picked up the Pink Honda Acura for $32 AUS on ebay for my daughter so very pleased. :happy

It's good to know i'm not alone!!!!!! java script:emoticon(':yahoo')

AND FUNNY ENOUGH..

My daughter also like the pink honda.... It's just the ERTL quality is not perfect.
But it is a Movie collection that only they have.

The meticulous quality issue arised when i compared the ERTL evo 7 and the AUTOart alternate EVO 7 (basically a AUTOart version of the movie car but not a licenced movie product)
G
road runner what would you rate this from 0 - 10.
also is there any chance of getting some upclose interior photo's?
i am thinking of adding this to my collectshon.

cheers

ben
I would not be paying over $60au, as is not really worth it the $$$ here.

As we have to pay the higher price due to shipping coast of ertls.
