I`m not suprised you got the 206 , I have that model too and its a little cracker .
I couldnt believe the detail on it compared to my 2 previous Solido versions.

A great start , you have great taste in cars :cheers

This is one 1:18 rally car I've always adored! Thanks for posting those pictures Tom. The angles from which you took them really capture the best features of the car. :coolpics

Thanks Gary. The 206 has always been a favorite of mine watching WRC on TV so I knew where I wanted to start. The amount of detail in this model is just amazing. :cheers

Thanks Felix. The model is so beautiful from every angle that even I, who greatly lacks photographic abilities, can take have-way decent shots. I give most of the credit to Autoart. :cheers

Tom, splendid photographs!!! :coolpics

No, I'd go further and say that they are outstanding!!!

Astonishingly, out of all of the WRC cars I have, I do not have a 1:18 206. I wouldn't bother with the Solido one, because looking at Tom's pictures, the AutoArt would have to be the way to go.

I may have finally crashed to my first impulse buy as a consequence of looking at the pictures on this forum. :WTF

Great pictures TMD!
:coolpics

I have the Panizzi car with the different wheels and I just love it! So far the best model I have in my collection, though I just won a New Age Impreza WRC #7 on ebay and should receive it shortly...:p

I have been unable to take good pictures of my models so far.... :confused
But I will try again soon.

P.S. My models are here if anyone wants to see them.

Thanks ajrichar. You do need to get a 206. I haven't seen any rally models by Solido but I will take your words for it and just stick with what Autoart offers.

Thanks cdnrally. Your rally collection looks fantastic. I love that Yokohama Mitsu EVO VI.

Tom, congrats on bagging the Pug! :happy

I like the one you have the most because of the wheels. I had a hard time finding it. :cry

This is the one I got. :giggle

Thanks Stygian! The Bertby cases are perfectly made for 1:18 models. I have added another shelf to fit I believe 11 cars but when I get my new one in this week I'll be out of room. I will likely get another one but at this time I don't have the room.

TMD, yeah the Asian Pacific car is nice because its not WRC. I wish they made more non-WRC rally cars in 1:18. There are a few Subaru's with Lovell and Bourne but thats about it. I'm hoping they make a Pat Richard car, as he is the NA Champion and is Canadian...:)

onoitsaWRX, Nice car! I'm hoping to get the red Pug with gravel tires one day. It does not look as good in the gravel setup but its different. May have to wait till after the new Xsara from AUTOart which is an awesome looking car! take a look at the pic....

Thanks Gary for the pic of the solido 206.

cndrally - I like the Xsara. I haven't seen it around here yet. Must still be new.

Gian - I didn't get the roof-mounted aero piece like yours. :giggle

Yeah the Xsara WRC is brand new... not even out yet. I believe it is to be released sometime this month. The plain versions have been released, so it should not be too long. The only down side.... they are "sealed" models... :confused Not sure exactly why, but hopefully AUTOart will keep the cost down a little because of that.

Stygian, thanks for your comments on the diorama.... I'm actually not even down with it yet but so far it looks ok.

Thanks Speedfiend. I'm glad I decided to take the plunge.

Thanks MP. The 206 is such a neat looking car that I would have brought one whether it was a rally or street version.
