Here is a 2003 Mustang Cobra SVT I bought as a kit. What I did to it: First off I carpeted the interior and the trunk area. Originally the seat inserts were painted gray, but that wasn't working for me so I painted them yellow. This model has a basic engine comprised of two block halves, a piece with the exhaust mainifolds and a piece with the cam covers. There is then a Maisto insert, but it is open in places so you can see the rest of the engine. I detail painted these parts and the undercarriage which is typical Maisto. Working suspension, and a chrome exhaust system. I also clearcoated the wheels.

Mark, I use a material I get at the fabric store called faux, (fake) suede. It's very thin, can be stretched if you make a slight error in cutting it and looks very real once applied. You can find my tutorial for installing it here:

I've used it on about 6 of the last cars I've done. It's very easy to work with.

Eddie,

Outstanding as alwaays :nicejob

I have been studying your tutorial on the carpeting :wink

Looks like Maisto has some really nice new colors for the Cobra, I am looking at picking up the Gun Metal Gray and Sonic Blue versions.

Darrick is right, Eddie. Your work is really something to behold! Have you noticed that we have a new verb here at DX:

"Eddified"

You are worthy of the word, my friend! :cheers
