2004 Corvette Indy Pace Car by Greenlight

I don't have it but it is a standard Ertl so that kind of answers your question.

I saw one over the weekend. Typical Ertl C5 (which isn't that bad) , tampos lined up and it looked good. I just can't justify spending $40 on an Ertl , especially when 3-4 years down the road they might re-release it (like they did with the 55 & 69 pace cars) for $20.

I have been looking at this model really hard, but I don't think its going to be in my future :tempted

It seems that the 1/24 were so bad that Tom @ NationalDiecasters returned them. I hope the 1/18 are not bad. I plan to add one to my collection, but not for full retail.

Those are some very good points by both of you.

Full retail is one of the determining factors in me be so skeptical about adding one.

I too bought the Ertl version of 2003 Pace Car, I have since added the AUTOart version. I'm hopeful they will release this one as well.

I heard this model is the ertl corvette just painted.I also heard its not worth the $40 its going for.Prices are already coming down on ebay.
