Hey everybody! This past week my Norev Mercedes-Benz S-Class arrived from Germany. Unfortunately, it was a disappointment. When the item arrived, I immediately opened it just to find that the front right mirror was broken. I managed to successfully attach it back by using Krazy Glue.
After the mirror was attached, I was finally happy with it...but then I decided to further examine it. Here's what I found wrong with the car:
1. Mercedes hood ornament was not stable/sturdy and proceeded to fall out multiple times (Fixed it by using glue, once again, on the long stick part connecting it to the hood)
2. Paint chipping
3. The trunk is not flush with the body of the car
4. Black accents around windows are not painted/applied well
5. Chrome trim around the doors is not well applied (hard to see in this photo as it just looks like chrome, but in reality it looks like it is peeling.)
Overall, I think Norev has some serious issues with its quality control. It's very upsetting that I paid $155.00 for the car and it arrives like this. If any of you would like to know, I purchased the car from an ebay seller by the name of "modelcarcorner," located in Germany (I wanted the white S-Class rather than the silver or blue and this was the least expensive one I could find). I contacted them a few days ago, asking for a partial refund (I was going to do an exchange, but shipping from Southern California to Germany is outrageous), but still no word. For those of you looking into purchasing this car, whether white, silver, or blue, be careful! I would hate for someone else to get one like mine!
