Anyone bought the 'Blue Wonder'?

What's the quality like? I'm quite tempted to one, but it looks a bit cheap in some of the photos?

Would it look good on a shelf or does it seem a bit toy like?

I'd probably pair it with a CMR Streamliner, so any thoughts on that, too, would be appreciated.

Thanks.

That's pretty nuts. Although their QC sucks (models are a hit and miss), I still have some nice fully opening iscale models in my collection (G12 7 series and W213 E Class) which were in the same price range when they were initially released. Now they're selling fully sealed ones....for 80 EUR....and on top of that, when Norev's W140 can still be found a plenty on the net? Crazy. Reminds me of KK's (IMO) blunder in releasing a sealed C140 a month or so before Norev released their fully opening tooling.

It should be said that these W140s are "exclusive" for CK, so probably that's why they are sealed to maximize profits. Either way it's a weird decision when you indeed have Norev's V140 still around and it's a cracking model at that.

For me this model of W140 is not good for proportion anche wheels wrrong. The wheel are mounted only on the facelift model, and the front grill and headlight and the front turning arrow (orange of pre-facelift) are wrong.
In add to this the bumper are not correct because are mounted on the facelift model, while the rear headlight is of pre-facelift.

Yep, not good!
Norev already produced it in a few engine sizes etc, and they open. They're not that expensive and can still be found. So I'm not sure why these ones have come about.

I'm not sure if they've been mentioned ? But I saw some W124 E Class models on ebay earlier, they looked quite nice. I like that gen.

White too, which I don't like as much.

Totally agree about these W124 looks rather nice. I suppose a nice but lesser substitute for those that do not have the almighty Autoart's W124 and both being the facelifted version. Between MCG's W124 and this one I reckon this is a much better buy for 10euro more judging from the pictures but MCG made pre facelifted and that appeals to some namely me :)

Fully sealed W126 S-Class for 69.95 EUR retail. The fully opening Norevs are still available for less than 100 EUR, although in other colors (black obv being the most expensive and sitting at over 200). Still... well...at least the iscale doesnt have those annoying black pegs around the headlights like the Norev had. But the least they could have done was provided bright interiors.
