Take a good look at the comprehensive roll cage elements that can be seen through the rear window of the 'RS2000'. Compare that to the rally version, which looks to be period correct and rather different. There's quite a bit of very modern looking tubing in there, to a level I've not seen in photo's of Escorts from that time. I actually have an 'RS' factory roll cage photo (scanned from a book) and it's much simpler in layout.......
Here's something different/nice: Triple 9's 1955 MGA Le Mans BRG streamliner car, as well as 1957 street versions in red (open) and silver grey (closed hard top). Metal, reasonably-priced, though only their doors open (2 on the street versions and just the driver's side on the Le Mans car. Cheaper than resin and the detail seems good; the wire wheels appear to be very good for a model at this price range (64,95 Euros).
Available in Europe (CK-Models, Modelissimo, etc.)
When i read " New Triple9 Issues" i expected problems haha
gotta say, i'm glad T9 is evolving, i have 2 of their Miatas, great models, for the price, but the GT-R's 2000GT and cosmos looked very cheap (finish wise) now with this half open line-up things are getting very interesting
