Ford Escort MKIII XR3i right hand drive.
Three colours initially - red, white and silver.
Sunstar did a very nice version, which is not easily available in rhd these days.
Although it wouldn't surprise me that it doesn't make a come back.
They are re-running the turbo versions...

The Sun Star Mk3 models are known for paint rash, some of them suffer really badly!

Virtually all Mk3's, XR3i, RS1600i & the Black (Lady Diana) RS Turbo. The White RS Turbo not so much. On most of the Red cars it's much worse, most of them have super rough paint and bad rash, often blistered paint too. They're really bad.

I'm not sure if the metallic colours are affected.

That's pretty cool, here we'd mostly see it being badged as a Lada (I think) Same for some of the older Seat cars I think they have three different makers ?

That’s interesting. I have the 1.6 GL (I think it’s a 1.6!), and I was looking at it the other week. No paint rash on it at all. And quite a nicely detailed model over all (y)

You wait ages for one to come along, and 'two' arrive all at once(ish).
W201 190E from Triple9 - sealed as usual.

Curious about the timing of the sealed W201 release. Price wise they aren't too far off from the full opening Norev release surely most people would choose that over this unless they are after a specific theme i.e. police car?

Reminds me of kk-Scale, iScale and MCG countless releases of the sealed classic Mercs. I think most of them ended up being on sale which might be good for bargain hunters like me 😁

On the Solido youtube clips the presenter said that choices for subjects can be at least two years ahead - at least for their diecasts.
We have to assume that there is a degree of secrecy about some of the decisions to produce a model.
Despite this, no one on here with an interest in such things was too surprised when Norev released their version.

I'm pretty sure that these are a new release - Alfa Romeo 155.
They will of course be sealed metal, and a little bit on the crude side.
Nevertheless T9 seem to be pretty good with shape, and I can't remember any A pillar issues.....

Strange engine choices; inasmuch as I think only the States got the 2.3. and the 2.5 is a diesel. A 2.6 petrol would have been nice. But, as they’re sealed, arguably it doesn’t matter. If they’re the later cars, I may get one to pair with my Norev :)
