I wrote on here and also wrote to them that they should make the XK120 (or 140 or 150) I personally would prefer that over the C-Type racecar, but they're long overdue to make any Jaguar.

The 275 GTB would be such good news, no other Ferrari (F50 maybe) is so desperate for a high-quality opening diecast, can't wait for that!

As an investment, sure, but I still haven't ever really wanted the CMC GTO. I still think that the Kyosho is a better looking model, better wheels especially, not to mention that I paid only $75 for the first one that I had.
The other CMC 250s are better models, especially considering that there aren't good alternatives for them. It's the blue California that I hate to have missed out on. But I got the Testa Rossa for a great price, and next to the BBR 375 Plus and Kyosho GTO, they look perfect. The Kyosho GTO holds its own perfectly next to BBRs and CMCs, so if anyone here still needs a GTO, that's what I recommend.

Count me out on the 275 GTB and 904, in that case. And honestly, the 904 looks ridiculous with those monster truck tires and ride height... you know what, CMC can't be trusted any more. They keep doing this, take a car that already exists in 1:18 as an acceptable to high quality opening diecast, make it look stupidly inaccurate, and then jack the price up yet again 🤦‍♂️ That was the C-Type and dare I say it, even the ridiculously overvalued and overrated 250 GTO.

I love the ones that I have because they're accurate enough, but also amazingly detailed, masterpieces of truly special cars. But bad wheels and ride height is just not acceptable on any model, not on a budget model, not on a $600+ CMC. So I don't know how many more I'll be adding to my collection.

Yes, considerably cheaper than most CMCs, even the Le Mans winning #4 livery, and in my opinion, BBR's leather straps are superior to CMC, in look and durability too, at least they feel like they won't tear as easily as CMC leather straps.
The hood straps on my BBR 375 tore, and I've seen a few others on here with torn straps. My experience is that CMCs are much more durable than BBRs. But still, the BBR 375 is an outstanding model, especially for the less than half the price that this CMC will be - I paid under $300 for mine.

So yes, CMC is definitely wasting their time. I would much rather them make the 250 Lusso, 330 GT, one that BBR only made in resin. But if it's gonna be $650+, inaccurate, and riddled with quality control mishaps... maybe not 🤷‍♂️

Some years and price increases ago, I too would've been frustrated with them not making new models. But now I'm actually feeling a little bit of relief, knowing that it would be over $500, and probably not even look like the 1:1. At this point, if there's a classic European car I wanna see in 1:18, I'd much rather Kyosho or even KK-Scale do it, since it'll be a fraction of the cost, and a lot more accurate.

In fact, I was looking at a list of my models in order of how much I paid for them, and that the wildly inaccurate CMC DB4 GTZ is #4 on that list really didn't sit right with me. Now I wish that KK or whoever else would make it, so I can get some of that money back, and get a much more accurate looking model while I'm at it. #1 on that list is by far the CMC 275 GTB, and honestly, I like my BBR classic Ferraris a bit more... they're sealed, but they look better, and I paid half or even less for them.

I'm very happy that they're rereleasing the Uhlenhaut instead of another swing and a miss on something else, since it's obviously one of their better models, and I missed it the first time. But after that, that might be it from CMC, as far as I'm concerned.
