That's not a surprise.
All pullmans will be highly sought after in a few years time. Just like the upcoming Ferrari 275.
Yes CMC will increase in value. I have the Autoart Pullman, both the LWB & SWB, both in black color have full of paint rashes, It has been 9~10 years now these models have been with me, sometimes i have them in box & when i switch models in the display cabinet, they will be out for 4~5 months. It is very painful to see, even 2~3 of my CMC models have paint rash, like the CMC streamliner, California in blue over the bonnet. So even if i want to resell them, it is quite difficult with these issues.
The White car has been selling for £770 on a couple of listings. No doubt in a year or so it'll sell for twice that!
Isn't that the regular sell price for the white version?

It polishes out quite well when you want to sell them. You can only do it so many times is the issue.

I'm not sure
It seemed a lot of money to me.

CMC has it listed on their website for €888 which is around 800GBP.
Cool, cheers.

I've just watched a long review / un boxing video of a Black one on YouTube. I noticed that the wheel hub caps didn't seem to stay in place and moved easily.
Also, when he used the rubber plunger tool to open the trunk, one of the hinges broke. Plus there were two random screws just lying around in the box.
The hood star seems to be too big.
The thick and thin digits on the licence plate look strange.
The molding line on the right of the intake, under the hood should not be there.

I watched a short video showing another Black car, that one just had music and no voice etc, even though they had gloves on, the paint showed a lot of marks.

I really like the car and would love to buy this model, but I'm not sure if it will be as good as I'm expecting it to be.
Despite all the flaws of the Pullman, I think it will increase a lot in price in the future.

Remember people complaining about the CMC California front window angle, 250 GTO shape, and the McLaren SLR stance? All the flaws will be compensated by the rarity, the amount of details, and how iconic those cars are.

Btw, the red pullman is released in China.

I think you are right, the Pullman models will increase in value in the future.

I think they are a lot of money, so for that I want something that looks great and wow's me. I love the actual car in real life (I've been lucky enough to see a couple of them) but I just don't think the model has the wow factor.

I've not bought one of their models since the Talbot Lago. Despite being interested in the real things, I was not keen on their Jaguar C Type, or the D50's. For me that was the turning point of when they seemed to cheap out on their models.
The price tag is painfully high indeed.
In this case I'd guess it is not only due to CMC's strategy (all right what has been said) - it simply is the Pullman-factor on top.
Just look what is still being quoted for AUTOart's Pullman models, be it SWB or LWB.

And I actually like my C-Type (Panamericana) a lot but for the D50 I am on the same page.

BTW: I ordered the White Swan - hoping that some day they will give us the corresponding SWB...

I was scared after watching that video too but I believe his pullman was from the first batch. They seemed to have resolved many of the qc issues in the following batches. I received my black version this summer and was very impressed by the qc. The paint was as smooth and mark free as i've ever seen on a black model.
The White Swan hasa nothis to do with Lennon.
A german business man in the USA ordered once two 600 Mercedes-Benz. A Pullman for himself and a SWB for his wife. Both cars have been absolutely the same. White paint with white interior.
Before he died his desire was that the cars one day will return to Germany AND most important to him, that they remain together.
So it happened. Because the two cars always stay together like two swans thats the reason why they are known in the Mercedes Classic scene as the White Swans.
I really like hearing automobile stories like this. Thank you for sharing with us.

Not that I will be buying 2 pullmans any time soon, but knowing the history behind the models that CMC is making makes them more enticing for me at least.
Cool, cheers.

I also watched that video and was horrified by it. Such a high priced model also. But if you watch more of his other unboxing videos you will think he is the unluckiest person in the world. LOL
Almost all of his other models he unboxes has broken parts or they break while unboxing them (He records the unboxing live it seams).

Guys, what do you think is the best color for the Pullman? I have the black one already, but I'm doubting whether I should add another color. Many thanks!

M200

M204

M215

M216

M218

M217

M205

For me it would be M204, the pale gold version.
Similar clean version to the black with the addition of the sunroof.
But only if I could get it with a significant discount...
I'm boring - M204 and M218 for me
My thinking is that with limousines, it's sort of like formal wear. Black, white, navy.

Silver, gold being other options. I also like that the limited ones are based on real cars with histories.
I have the black and if I was getting another one it would be a clear color, either sand M204, white M215 or maybe the gold Landaulet M217
I have black and bronze or golden which ever it is. I was thinking of getting blue, but because I will get blue Landaulet I gave up. I wanted to have black pullman and one with working sunroof. White was highly ranked on my list until I didn't saw it doesn't ave sun roof.
Red is the only wich is for me out of question because it is too vulgar with that red color.
