The Autoart Pullman was the first few models that I got and started me this hobby, so it has an important position in my heart.
I do agree that the engine is not that detailed enough. However, I usually keep the hood down so it doesn't bother me too much. XDD.
I can fully understand what you mean, Wilfred!!

It's just the same with me:
My very first model was a F40 from Bburago which I acquired more than 25 years ago and I would never give away although it's quality is far, far, far below AUTOart, CMC and many others.
I couldn't better phrase it than you did: It has a special position in my heart."

My first model was the Bburago 911 GT3, also keeping it for the sake of "being the first"

The framed Ferrari 250 GTO in pieces is pretty cool...too bad it's priced as though it were a fully assembled model

https://www.cmc-modelcars.de/en/products/accessory/product-view/model/cmc-model-art-cmc-ferrari-250-gto-bauteil-schautafel/?tt_products%5Bpp%5D=1&cHash=95a25c9188f1af690f1b473b473b2b46

Also, the diorama with the Alfa Romeo looks very unworthy of the CMC label

I agree with both of those comments. Over priced picture of a 250 GTO in pieces and the back board is a very dull colour. Even the arrangement looks a bit lack lustre.
The diorama looks very plasticy, especially for that money. Wouldn't we rather they sold it without a car and then we could add our own?

Mate, I have that exact Bburago F40. I believe I have those MADE IN ITALY version. It's one of those dreams come true in the childhood to get one of the sexiest cars in the car history.
And yes, it's not comparable to modern standards but still having a special position in our hearts.
I hope someday CMC will make one of these... F40, F50, 288 GTO and that would be awesome.

I quite like the new poster of CMC:
Did CMC airbrush out the massive rivets on their D50 model?

I received this image.: it says that the selling priice shall be 729€.

Yeah the rumored 729 Euro has been listed before but since when do we pay the price listed by CMC for current ongoing models? Usually the price is lower at the retailer (I'm not talking about the inflated price of the sold out models).

Ah, now I need to see if I can find any of their older posters. Amazing that CMC themselves are embarrassed by the actions of Wolfgang when it comes to large promotional images, but won't tell him to stop using warship deck plating rivets on cars

" warship deck plating rivets " - good one, Uzair

It's hard to believe that the last message in this thread is from February :)

Here is a nice teaser:

Some CMC future directions from the Shanghai model car exhibition:
http://tieba.baidu.com/p/5916586421

- The Pullmann W100 will be released after Chinese New Year 2019. There will be multiple versions, including the ones from celebrities.
- The C type will be released later this year, there will be 7 versions, starting from 3341 Chinese Yuan = 417 euro
- An improved version of the Targo Flogio will be released after the C type..
- The Ferrari 275 will be released after the W100, so still a while from now.
- Both the Ferrari and the Maserati transporters will be re-released! But after 2020.
Now that's a prope C type. I wasn't happy with the autoart (contrary to my profile pic) back when it was the only option. This is very good news for a lot of collectors
Cmc knocks it out the park again! Good to see them always improving pushing the limits.
