Urus?Lets hope for same quality as bburago Chiron.

I really hope the Urus has all four doors opening and scaled correctly. Being a SUV, I hope Bburago incorporates Maisto style axles. Their current setup is having issues supporting the weight of not so heavy models. Urus is gonna be interesting but I really hope they decide to make a 812, TDF, and 488 Spider. They'll probably do the Portofino which is nice but not really exciting.

I am guessing Maisto is going to make the AMG Project One or the upcoming ZR1.

That will be the day it will happen lol. They've been under the same ownership but bburago's detailing dept is still light years away from Maisto. That being said this is the first time you dont see a new Ferrari on their new releases list which is a real shame really despite still so many new Ferrari's the've yet to release.

Meh with the small scales. No one is bothered about their stupid 1/43 and 1/24. They are only bothered about making small scales for newer Ferrari's. If this was HWE, the 1:18 comes ahead before the smaller scales.

Maisto even released an article about the newly announced McLaren Ultimate Vision Gran Turismo on their blog. Could also be a hint that could be in the works.

Not interested in concepts, but way to go Maisto! So many new models unlike Bburago. If they decide to make the Performante it’ll go great with the GT2 RS.

We need to remember that designing an accurate 1/18th scale metal model with opening components takes time.
I would rather wait longer for an accurate model than a rushed disaster - particularly if it's at a reasonable price.
Even if Maisto bought the old Hot Wheels tooling, it would take quite a bit of transport and setting up time.
And such tooling can be damaged or worn - at which point Maisto have to decide if any repairs are cost effective.
These big companies are not charities, nor are they enthusiasts. They are in it to make money.....

Too early, for sure they will make at least one 1:18 model.Probably some high end Ferrari new car.I think it will be 812 Superfast.

All my hopes are for Maisto Exclusive line.Only May Cheong Group product that is worth checking, bburago models are only good as starter models but more preferably toys.I bet URUS will be disproportional trash as they only wanted to fit it to the classic bburago box.Bburago ferrari is only product that gets length right.

Wh;y are there still so many differencies between Maisto and Bburago?Same company many shared licences, I dont get it...

All my hopes are for 911 GT2 RS in exclusive line.They are getting better every time price is right, quality too.I bet if Norev makes 911 GT2 RS now, it will be closed model and Autoart?Composite for astronomic price...

The points you mention are valid, but tell that to diecast manufacturers like the previous license owner Mattel (Hot Wheels), or at companies like Norev, Welly or at another extent BBR, which is producing the modern Ferraris... And these are just diecast companies, not resin or composite ones, whose response time in terms of launching of models is obviously much more effective.

And Maisto is doing their job quite well... the problem in May Cheong Group is called Bburago and its Ferrari licensing strategy for 1/18 scale.
