Newest addition! Being from the USA, the Continental has always been iconic for me, so I didn't resist before buying this one.I find this model to be exceptionally photogenic. I'm impressed that Lincoln has kept the car looking this good this long! And Dealer Edition has offered good quality at a decent price. Exceptional detail on the twin-turbo V6; excellent interior; perforated chrome grille and chrome badging and door handles; and window tint! Plus, a nice polished wood display stand with chrome name plate. The model is heavy (I always like that) and well-built and the Rhapsody Blue paint job is superb. The only problem I have with it is the doglegs on the hood (trunk's more forgiveable), but I personally find those easy to overlook. I'd buy this oine again! (Caution: this post is gonna be pic-heavy)

I think it looks quite nice in blue. Are the seats a soft material or just hard plastic? And funny enough I've noticed a lot of 1:1 cars have dogleg hood hinges (mainly those with the props). Much easier to forgive than on the doors in my humble opinion.

When this car was released i thought it was nice alternative to the estabilishment of Mercs, BMWs, Audis and Lexus. I rooted for it becoming a success, but maybe it was stuck between the luxury brands and the top of the line offerings of the mainstream brands. The automotive consumer often don't respond well to this "indecision". Specially in the ever shrinking market of big sedans.
Personally i like this car very much, stylish and quirky, and model is lovely. Congrats!

That's a nice model of a very handsome car! 😀 I love the deep blue color. The wooden display base is a nice addition, too (especially since I've always liked the grain of nice, unpainted wood). I have several Chinese dealer edition models and am generally quite pleased with them. As you note, they have good weight, good quality, and are a good value for the money, too. Because of these other positive factors, I'm also not really bothered by the dogleg hood hinges.

The seats are soft! I'm impressed. I never know if they're 'real' or not but these definitely look and feel like it.
And you're right, doglegs on the doors are the worst ;)

Thank you! I think this would be a fine alternative to the European/Japanese luxury brands; I love the styling. But I believe you're right, all the cars are shrinking these days, except for the SUVs. I believe there's a bigger market for this type of car in other countries than the USA, which is somewhat unfortunate. But that's just speculation. All I know is that I'd never seen this iteration until I saw the model. But it is handsome!

Thanks, Steven! I think this one's a bit of a steal for the money. And I agree: I love the look and feel of unpainted wood, especially if it's polished :)

Beautiful model! It looks great in blue. I came sooo close to getting a blue one, but ended up getting white which I really like as well. I think this is one of my favorite models.
These dealer editions almost always have dogleg hood hinges, so I have to give them a pass on that.

It's a shame the big sedan market has dried up in the US, as I've always been a fan of big sedans ever since early childhood.

Thanks! I am more impressed with this one than I thought I'd be when I bought it. It's stunning in white, too!

Scott! 👏This model is a delight to behold! Congrats on adding one and taking such BRILLIANT natural light shots!!! It really shows so much detailing here. We are so lucky that the Chinese market demands highly accurate replicas and at reasonable prices...even lower if you are in China, as Lincoln paid for these and other DEs to be produced and sold at dealerships there.
I really makes me wonder WHY do we Americans or rather North Americans (including Canada) not see the value in engineering such an accurate piece like this anymore?

I'm glad that you have one and thrilled that you shared it with us, Thank You! 😊 Cheers!🥂

Thanks for the compliments, Dave! I'm glad you liked the pics! This means a lot coming from you, especially, because all your pics are professional and high-quality; I have no editing software or custom backdrops here or anything like that :) Just a tabletop in front of the computer and a smartphone. But I was pleased at how well this model came out. I do have a lot of good natural light in this room, which helps. I count on it a lot!
