CL Coupe on eBay now in Hong Kong.
What do you guys think is the most desirable Norev Mercedes so far or in the near future?

W140 S class?
W222 S class?
C140 CL class?
R129 SL class?

Based on how popular the AUTOart E320, 190e are, I thought that the hard lined Mercedes models from similar era from Norev would be popular, so for example the W140. But that model has hardly increased in value.
The W140 in Black. Actually most of their MB models in Black.
I'm not a huge fan of the 1:1 C140, but the diecast of it does look really rather good. The R129 looks promising too, but they need sort those wheels out PDQ :)

Personally I would vote for W140. I think Norev really hit home run with this one, they have milked as much as they could from the mold and still pumping out different variants/colours of the W140. I am quite excited to see Norev is taking an interest the older Bruno Sacco era's Mercs. Would love to get the C140 and R129 when they are out (and from the pic above i think it says 4 opening parts for the R129?) I also love the fact that they made the C124 cabrio but havent got around to get one yet... still holding up hope that they might consider a coupe version one day...
I'm not a c140 fan, but it looks good after the pictures. I think I will buy it ...

I am surprised by the color because I am asking for a black paint and a beige interior.

I think main issue with W140 is that there are so many colors to choose from (black, white, blue, green, red, gray, silver. . .), and that is why it is increasing so slowly. How expensive are black W140?
Also, I doubt SL will have any crazy price ever, because of AUTOart.
The last Black W140 sold for £125 last month on ebay UK (I guess on buy it now) there aren't any closed auctions apart from that. I sold my one a few years ago though for a couple of hundred.

The AUTOart SL600 models do sell for a lot, but I think way more than a Norev ever will, so a Norev will climb, but not up to the prices of AUTOart.

I'm trying to hold out for an official Mercedes-Benz DE version of the C140 CL600 (If that is a thing with this one?)...hopefully it's going to be released in white, green, red, grey, blue, black, or anything over SILVER(I know official "Benz historical color")...but nobody at Benz that works for them usually drive a silver Benz, most of the parking lot is all black cars). As a model it looks a bit meh or
in silver IMO

omg it is out already David?? That looks properly well done! I dont think i mind another Benz "official colour" silver LOL considering I already have two later gen CLs in silver. Quite excited about this eventhough me like most others are not exactly a big fan of C140 in the past.
It was out in Hong Kong on the 28th (I mentioned it earlier on in an ebay listing)
looks like a very nice diecast indeed... but some 27 years on, I still can't fully digest the C140's styling. Have a hunch I'm passing on this one.
Same here. I just can't get on with it and don't find it attractive.

I think i saw your message about it being available on HK ebay somehow i couldnt find it. Do you happen to have the ID or the link to it? hopefully it isnt too terribly expensive and following the standard Norev retail pricing?
It was the seller, fanny83 ? In Hong Kong, the listing seemed legit. There were pics of the model and with it in the box etc.
Thanks Craig.. i tried but couldnt locate the seller (maybe it is region thing) Not to worry i am sure they will show up on the usual German model car giants soon LOL. I probably go with modelissimo later this year considering i still have some credits with them

Yeah, since last Saturday 25th, my dealer sent me pics on ebay, but I wasn't feeling the silver. I still have hope for another Dealer Edition color. That said, if they are cheaper here in Europe and released soon, I will probably buy a silver one.

Anyone after the all black 1/12th scale Mustang with the regular wheels might consider Carmodel Italy who are listing it at €129.95.
Buy during one of their regular 10% days for an even lower price (shipping in Europe €9).
