I am not convinced by the rear roofline.
Comparing the IXO with the ancient Revell and the OTTO - the Revell looks the best to me.
And it has openings....

When Otto announced the 1/12th scale E30 M3 DTM car, I contacted them and asked about an ETCC version.
I don't remember when the M3 was originally shown on their website, but it must be a year ago at least.
This reply arrived in my inbox this evening.....
