Not my first choice of color, but they do exist. Color is called mugello red. I do have the first E34 M5 touring from Otto but will still get this.

There's something odd about the front end of the Escort.
I can't quite put my finger on it, it seems to be the relationship between the headlights and the grill/bonnet height.
It might be their photography, nevertheless I'm always suspicious about there being no all over body image.
And the Union flag background when showing a left hand drive car.
Either way, it's not a subject that interests me for a purchase.

Mirrors would look better white than black.

I would say the headlights are a tiny tiny fraction too tall.

Not common livery. I'd love the Esso one (black and gold)!

Me too!
The Olympus rally was a failure at the time, the US in general had no interest in rallying during that era, and we are talking about group B.
It needed Pastrana and Block (among others) to highlight the sport.
And it's not as though there were no decent American drivers in this era - John Buffum being one of the best.
And there were also Canadians in the rally game at the time - so that I don't get flamed! :p

I apologize if I’ve completely missed discussion on this, but can someone give me a quick rundown on how Otto’s club works?

I was thinking of getting the EK9 CTR that was a June release. The main website says Club Only and linked me to their club. I signed up and I cannot add it to my cart. Is this because it was only available via pre-order and will not be a general release?

I know second hand sellers will likely have it at inflated prices but am I SOL getting it at release pricing?

Yes, only pre orders using the club.

Usually 5 models released every month, and you have to book and pay them in advance, within the deadline.
For example, for that Civic the deadline was June, 1st. For "July" releases the deadline is tomorrow (you can check PDFs on club website for more informations).
Anyway you can trust them. Never had problems of models paid and not received.
Sometimes they are sold out before deadline.

The OttO Club is held every two months. We announce the models the month before (e.g. in June for the August/September Club) which opens on July 1st.

When the pre-orders open (July 1st for this new club), you have one month to pre-order the August models and two months to pre-order the September models. Of course, this can be done within the limits of available stocks as all our models are produced in limited and numbered edition.

To confirm a pre-order you have to pay your pre-order before the deadline (usually the 10th of the month: August 10th for the August Club models, September 10th for the September Club models).

Then, the shipments are done at the end of the month concerned (end of August for the August Club models, end of September for the September Club models).

Some retailers also sell our products after the deliveries. But when a model is successful, professionals do not have access to this model (priority to Otto Club members).

Unsold models/cancelled orders are offered for sale in the store after the Club shipments.

Everything happens here (registration is free): Accueil - Club Ottomobile

Don't hesitate if you have further questions :)
