Interesting choice of event for the Legacy - his very first win was in New Zealand 1993, an easy conversion for the one they released previously.
If I remember correctly, this was the first win For Subaru in the WRC, and the last event before Prodrive introduced the Impeza.
I need to head over to the search engine to see if the old grey matter is on point. :)

More repaints.
Can't they come up with something unique again - like the recent Vauxhall Chevette rally car?
Unlike the majority of recent subjects which are the same or close to what is already on the market from others.
And if you compare their 190E (dodgy shape and crap headlights) with that form Norev, what are they trying to achieve?
Anyone for a Clouseau Silver Hornet 2CV? (I am being sarcastic - the world does not need another bloody tin snail).

I think they probably have the monthly quota to meet so if they are short on a new subjects that month they probably just roll the dice and pick some past models to be remade with fresh coat of paint?

So this is the selection process used!
How did find this out, and have you any more insider information?

Also, we have a lot of request for new colors (like the R32) of previous models.

Please don't bother with yet more R32 variants (the market is saturated) - we need an entry level R31, ideally Solido with opening doors.
A lot of collectors go on about replicas of JDM or low production original cars, that is the GTS-R to a tee.

There's something odd about the front end of the Escort.
I can't quite put my finger on it, it seems to be the relationship between the headlights and the grill/bonnet height.
It might be their photography, nevertheless I'm always suspicious about there being no all over body image.
And the Union flag background when showing a left hand drive car.
Either way, it's not a subject that interests me for a purchase.

Not common livery. I'd love the Esso one (black and gold)!

Me too!
The Olympus rally was a failure at the time, the US in general had no interest in rallying during that era, and we are talking about group B.
It needed Pastrana and Block (among others) to highlight the sport.
And it's not as though there were no decent American drivers in this era - John Buffum being one of the best.
And there were also Canadians in the rally game at the time - so that I don't get flamed! :p

Interesting for sure! Not one I'm interested in though.
It's a second 1980's French Super Production model.
I like touring car racing, but the series did nothing for me at the time.
Parts of French motorsport were trying to get the truly international group A series to be the tin top 'top dog'.
In the end this championship split the motorsport resources and interest in France, to the detriment of both.
I know that there were no French cars suitable for competing against the likes of the E30 M3 or RS500.
Yet the first model released was based on an Italian Alfa Romeo GTV6.
The BMW 635 also soldiered on in the series, after both were also rans in group A.
Interestingly, the oh so French Citroen AX is right hand drive!

Yipppeeee! I wanted a 100. But that’ll do! :) A-pillars look a bit thick, but could just be the angle.
I wanted someone else to point this out instead of me this time!
(The windscreen has mostly survived being misshapen this time).
Companies must be having roof cave ins with resin models, it's the only excuse I can think of.
Even if it were simple sealed metal this would not be a problem.
If a corrected group A rally version was produced, I would be after one.

If there is a roof cave in problem, is it compounded if the 1:1 has naturally thinner A pillars, as most older cars do?
That's a good point, modern cars do have stronger/wider roof pillars than the older stuff.
Resin manufacturers need to look at metal reinforcements inside the resin at potential weak points, like with reinforced concrete.
It won't happen of course, unless 100 bodies are produced with a high failure rate with the few good ones retained and the rest are then scrapped.
It has to be part of the reason some resin manufacturing companies are asking the prices that they are....

Two more paint jobs!

And two with very decent A pillars and windscreen shape.
Although I would rate the Fiesta version at about 90%, the Megane is about spot on.
Shows resin manufacturers can do a better job if they try hard enough.
I have around 20 Otto models in road and rally form, and the pillars are between 85 and 100% for size and shape.
That is just my opinion of course! :sneaky:

On behalf of the BMW: such a strange story in their email about the movie license plate on the BMW. Not a word about messing up the headlights on the model whilst there's been plenty of people notifying them they made a mistake. They should've retracted this model to fix it and replace it by something else. Disappointing.
Good luck with hoping for such a correction.
I have not seen any evidence that they will make such changes in the past.
The did withdraw an Alpine A310 some years ago, which they scrapped - it never reappeared.
But that was the worst attempt at one of their subjects I've ever seen.
Here's something - many of the more mainstream models can be had from sealed diecast manufacturers.
And they do a far better job at accuracy of shape, even if the interiors and small details are rather weak.
