I might email them about the 106. It is so bad!!
Yet again (!) the biggest issue for me are the oversized A pillars, inevitably causing the windscreen to look wrong.
It's the first thing I tend to look for, and I have seen manufacturers produce models which they have manufactured correctly in an earlier time.
Case in point - Minichamps Capri RS2600.
The original all opening version was spot on for shape, the sealed race releases suffer from that bugbear of mine - although in this case it's not disastrous....

I got a news email from them earlier, but I noticed they've made a Fiat Multipa. I don't know who even wants this

| At the time of writing, I am at our new production unit reviewing future models which should arrive soon. It is still impossible for us to go back to our factory in China, it will soon be 2 years since we have been able to see our colleagues who are there and that is a very long time. We have taken the lead and opened a new production unit, very promising, which will produce all the modern cars of the OttOmobile range (like the new Peugeot 208...). Yep, the windscreen is at the wrong angle, in real life it's actually quite upright, on the model it's at more of an angle. The tops of the doors on the car are straight in real life, but yep, due to the A pillars being at the wrong angle, the whole roofline is pulled down.
It's a model I have wanted for a long time (I am huge French car fan!!) but this is completely wrong, so I won't be getting one, unless they can fix it.

I'm beginning to get worried about the direction that Ottomobile are taking.
They seem to be following GTS in some respects, and choosing ever more unusual subjects to produce.
It's not all bad, I just feel there are too many very niche subjects popping up, and some that are duplicates of cars arriving from other manufacturers.
The Mercedes Benz 190E being one example, which isn't even very impressive for shape.
As for the reply about two years ago, I would have told them two years ago that the front of the upper body shape was wrong.
Sometimes I think that silent actor Ben Turpin had the job of signing off on the shape of the prototypes.....

Two things that jumped out in the newsletter. Naturally the crazy ugly Fiat Multipla mold that they seem to be building. The other thing is the part of Ottomobile that is going to release more modern cars. That could be interesting, as long as those are not the regular suspects you can buy from any manufacturer.
Curious to see which direction they are going. If the Fiat is an April model I still have hope it's a joke lol.

Assuming the shape is correct, I’ll have a Multipla it’s a very clever car, packaging-wise in the spirit of former small Fiats. It’s ugly deliberately; MPVs aren’t especially interesting as a concept, and few are good looking. Rather than make it bland like all the others, Fiat made it look nuts inside and out. I don’t know how well it sold, but the fact the face lift was painfully bland probably tells you that MPV drivers prefer them dull. Oh well

I rather they produce this fiat than RWBs and avants over and over again like GT Spirit is currently doing. Modern cars are fine, but there are still so many older cars not done by anyone else.
The Multipla is starting to get a bit of a cult following within the French petrolhead community. 'Vilebrequin', a French automotive Youtube channel with 1.5m subs is building a version with 1000HP following a €1m+ crowd-fund! And 'QGDT', a parody Facebook page with 315k subs have about 5 modified Multiplas. Otto, being a French brand, have spotted an opportunity to cash in on that I'm sure.

The original 1960's Fiat Multipla was charming.
The re-boot was ugly, but then so is the Nissan Joke.

I don’t think anyone will deny the Multipla is ugly (Fiat dealers used to supply it with a rear window sticker that read: “You should see the front”). All things being equal, I could drive a Multipla with all its weirdness with more amusement than I could, say, a Touran

I love cars quite a bit, so I always felt bad for the vast amount of hate the Multipla got/gets. It was like telling a friend of mine they are ugly. Yes, it was a gamble to make a car deliberately so weird looking and it was never going to pay off. But they did it anyway. So, if the model is good, I may get one to show it some love
I wouldn't be surprised if it sells out rather fast as a lot of people would probably want one for the lolz. Mind you, I was sure that the Norev AMG GT BS would sell out immediately, yet it's still easy to find, so it seems that 1:1 collectors and scaled collectors have slightly different interests

I have a second generation 'Mustang Cobra' for just that reason.
It's comically over the top, and should have been called the Mustang grass snake.....

Craig, might I suggest this is an automated response?
I've seen it several times when suggesting possible new model choices.
Although I will admit seeing this when they released the original white Sierra Cosworth.
I asked them to consider the rally versions as alternatives, and they duly produced them!
