3 x 7 = 'Sheer Driving Pleasure': (Part I)

Hello Members!

I want to show you some distinctive on BMW 745i with three differents diecast manufacturers.

I will show you differents on:

- 745i from Kyosho (stratusgrey)
- 745i from MotorMax (dark silver)
- 745i from Welly (silver)

First a 'Groupshot'.

(MotorMax/Kyosho/Welly)

(Welly/Kyosho/Motormax)

Now, we can see all three models have 'almost' the same proportions. But the Kyosho one is a little bigger than the other ones.

(Kyosho)

(MotorMax)

(Welly)

Kyosho: Looks great, looks like BMW: What do you looking for?
MotorMax: Ouch!! The first Front-view is still good - the second view is very very bad! What wants MotorMax doing with this model? 'I have fear of this model...' This looks like as it comes from an accident. Wrong - it is ex factory!
Welly: Looks good - but not good enough how Kyosho's one. The finish of the hood is not the best. It looks out, as if someone would have 'nibbled' there.

And now, we looks the details on the front.

(Kyosho)

(MotorMax)

(Welly)

Kyosho: Nothing to say - very good like the original.
MotorMax: The look of the shining looks like 'the view is empty'. Very trist and very pure. the work on it is bad.
Welly: It looks better and is more harmoniously than MotorMax.

(Kyosho)

(MotorMax)

(Welly)

From the side all three looks good. Only on Wellys model we can't to open the back doors.

The Backside.

(Kyosho)

(MotorMax)

(Welly)

The back side don't looks good - but this is the 'error' from the original, not from the model manufacturers.
The back side looks good on all three models. But on the MotorMax model we can see again some bad finishes on their work. On the Welly model, it looks also good - only the lacquer have near the number sign an irritation.

(Kyosho)

(MotorMax)

(Welly)

The wheels looks good on Kyosho. Not the all-time best, but it is good.
On MotorMax the wheels could come from a toy.
Welly is a compromise between good look and budget.

The interiors.

(Kyosho)

(MotorMax)

(Welly)

Kyosho: Nothing to say than it look like typical Kyosho. Great! But the color of the interior (carpet, instrument panel) could it be a little lighter.
The interior on MotorMax is very pure. The colors are desireless and boringly.
The interior on Welly is pure too. But the choice of the colors are very nice. It doesn't look desireless and boringly.

The engines.

(Kyosho)

(MotorMax)

(Welly)

The engine of the Kyosho model aren't so detailed like some other BMW models from their. But it looks nice.
The engine from MotorMax is aren't detailed too. The cover over the engine are to big.
The engine from Welly looks great. Of cause - it is not best engine, but it looks better for me than the engine from Kyosho.

Thanks for all feedbacks! :danbana

But my english is not perfect... :woohoo

I like to buy from different manufacturers the 'same' model, for example: BMW 2002-Serie: I have six models from three manufacturers and it is nice to see whiche differents are this models.

Sometimes, I make some 'reviews' on a german diecast forum (called Modelcar-forum.de.vu). Unfortunaly, this forum is in german language.

Very nice review Michael :cheers

Thanks for taking the time to post this for us :cheers

I have the Welly and think its a good car for the money.
I am not a big fan of the 7 so I didn't want to spend a lot on a model of one.

...
:iagree

I like more the older Bimmers. Of cause the 3er E46 is nice, but not nice enough like the E36 or E30.

It is a very interesting comparison!
But, why did you buy all three models? I am satisfied with my Kyosho one.

Don't ask me - I don't know. :woohoo

I buy last year the Welly model. It was and is a nice model. Early this year a discount market called ALDI sells many MotorMax models for 8,90 EUR - I buyed the MM model. Finaly last week I buy the one and only Kyosho model for replace the other ones.
