It's been a long time since I've posted anything in here. But I've been pretty busy modding over the last few months.
I have a bunch of projects to post about. Only a couple will get a full thread. Others will be updates in this thread.

To start off though is this Ertl '32 Ford Roadster build. Initially, this was to be a simple wheel swap and lowering job. It has since turned into a lot more.
Here's how it started. I'm sure you guys are familiar with it.

It quickly turned into this.
Stripped out the stock engine. Dropped in a little something from a Lamborghini Countach. Channelled the body and Lined up a set of the Replicarz wheels

.

Here's where it's at as of yesterday. Sorry for the terribly backlit pics.
Tried my hand at a set of headers using solder. Shaping it all was easy. Getting them to stay in place was a nightmare.
Still need to work on the 'tips'
For the front suspension, I squeezed the frame rails through the stock components, and added extensions to the cross members underneath. I think I've stated this in a couple other threads, that I have little knowledge of how this stuff works, and only have interest in how it looks. So if you guys have any pointers, for realism in this build feel free to drop them in a comment.
I grabbed a gauge cluster from a Carrera GT and built putty around the Countach's transmission.
Carved out the base of some seats from an NSX type and build a back wall to fill the void left from the stock bench.

Still a lot of work to do to finish this up, but I'm really enjoying this build.

I have this same model, and even a low-level-modded one (mix-up with "32 Duece),

but what you did to the poor bugger is absolutely NUTS ! And i mean that in a good way
Thanks a lot guys! Schu, I really like what you've done with it. Is there somewhere we can see more pics?

I have no pictures of the mixup, but you can see more pics of my hotrod-collection here.

I bought a painted '32 Deuce (body flat-black and seats brown) with glued-on wheels and a little damage once,
and i swapped the chassis with one from an old '32 (with engine-hood).
