Remember the "aluminum" reflective background? Now where have I put that?? :lol These are older shots when I was a newbie at taking pics fof diecasts and had no idea how to control flare spots from my lights.

Glad you like them Kurt. This was my very first McLaren F1 GTR. I still love it every bit as much as the first day I got it. :happy :cheers :cheers

Thanks for your kind words about the pics Justin. Aside from the flare problem, the colours did seem to punch out decently. I also like the way the blue/silver complement one another too. :cheers
Since ive gotten my first mac , I'm eyeing a 2nd one its this U39711 - UT MCLAREN F1 GTR 1997 FINA KOX/RAVAGLIA version of this mclaren. number 9

Just wondering how rare it is? and whats a good price? the shop wants 95 AUD for it. ebay link of same car here http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewI...ssPageName=WDVW

Looks great! I'd love to add a long tail Mac to my collection! (Hopefully, the Gulf car arrives soon!)
I bought my #8 about a year ago for ~US$45. I don't see the #9 too often so the short supply of them will drive up the price.

I had no idea Nelson Piquet co-drove this car with Peter Kox and Danny Sullivan. Interesting! :cheers
