I don't know if I missed a memo somewhere but can someone tell me why Spark's 991 GT3 RS is so expensive and no other company is even announcing the model?

I've only seen a few Spark models bouncing around Ebay for somewhere north of 600 euros... what surprised me was that the original price listed by Spark was ludicrous to begin with (not like the GT Spirit RWB case). It seems like a very ordinary 'sealed' resin Spark model to me. Unless the clearcoat on that model is made from unicorn tears, I cannot fathom why it is so high.

The only explanation I can think of is that Spark has some sort of exclusive license for that particular model. Even Minichamps has the 991 GT3 in diecast, so should be a no brainer to do a GT3 RS with minimal tooling... but not even an empty announcement.

What am I missing?

Nailed it! Those thieves have our unicorns hostage and using their tears for all clearcoats.

Spark like TSM always launch with ridiculous prices in the past. Wouldn't surprise me if they continue to do so until they learn their lessons.

Spark is the only one with a license currently. GT Spirit tried it but did not get a positive feedback yet. And the price is not on Spark's side. Porsche made them so expensive.
Too bad GT Spirit couldn't make this, or the regular GT3 for that matter. The Minichamps GT3 is fine, but I am just about done with Minichamps.
