Cool plane! Luckily, it's a bug that hasn't bitten me yet, but I'd still like to add a couple...the B17 my father served on and the F15E that were based at the AF base I was stationed at.

Be careful as the are some real nice 1:48 scale B17 and F15 available in real die-cast from the Franklin Mint (like his plane) which are quite nice!

If your not familiar with the 1:18 stuff, all of it is plastic (not die-cast). I haven't seen anything on a B17 or F-15 series in 1:18 yet....

I've had my eye on a 1:48 scale Franklin Mint A-10 for a month or so but have not released the near $100.00 for it.

Large-scale aircraft are addictive, nice ones are more so..........

BTW the B17 from ARMOUR are HUGE 25" wingspan & 18" long
the F15E has the length of 16" and a wingspan of 11"
