I have been looking at these pics over and over and figured out there are numerous differences between the AUTOart and UT version of this model.

*Pop up headlights obviously.
*Engine details
*Carpeting looks more plush
*Seatbelts
*No doglegs on the doors

Are the shark gills vented as I can't really tell.

AUTOart please make this model in more colors :tongue

This really is a great looking model and clearly improves upon the UT but I am with X. More colors!!! I don't get how AUTOart does their models and only releases one or two colors and that's it. At the very least they should do the "official" two tone silver over gray 25th anniversary paint scheme (all '78 Vettes wore the 25th anniversary badging but the two tone scheme was considered the official anniversary celebration coloring). It's ironic in that when UT first came out with the '78 Vette their first color was solid silver and was billed as the 25th anniversary car. They later added the correct two tone version which is one of my favorites in my collection. Hope AUTOart adds that and more but I won't be holding my breath.

Great Vette RG, make sure you take good care of it...and if you plan on taking the top off be careful because it is very fragile.
