My Lincoln Navigator just arrived.I opened it and as soon as i took it out the rear light falls off.I do have UT expedition parts truck so I will just use that.Truck is very well detailed. There is so much chrome on it.Even the roof rack is chrome. It has a bug deflector on the front of it.The license plate area is all chrome as are the wheels. The interior is to light. The wood trim does not look like wood.Does not have much detail.
For the exterior i would give it a 98/100
Interior 75/100 (very dissapointing)
Overall 86/100

Truck would have done better if it werent for the poor engine and interior detail.Other than that its a must have for any AUTOart or SUV person such as myself.

contact Gateway Global and they should send you the parts.

thanks i will have to do that.
Thanks for the review. I was quite disappointed with mine, (a black one) which I felt was not detailed enough to be called an AUTOart (never mind the price it was!). It lacked details which I've come to expect on an AUTOart such as detailed brakes and a high detail engine compartment. Good looking model though I agree.

I was very dissapointed also.I was looking forward to getting this model. The outside of the truck is very nice,I really dont have complaints about the outside but the interior and engine detail is right. It should not be called an autoart.I thought this was going to be one of autoarts better models but i was wrong i guess.

:iagr: The thing to remember about some "AUTOarts" is that they are really re-released older UT models. UT were good in their day but the level of detail expected in a medium to high end diecast model has increased since UT were taken over and essentially closed down by Gateway Global (AUTOart's parent company) in 1999. So naturally unless they do a good update job then rehashed UTs won't cut it as AUTOart's in my humble opinion!!!

The Lincoln Navigator is very much a UT Ford Expedition underneath, so it is no better than it was really.

:iagr: Everyone seems to say the rear taillight were taken off of the expedition which i think is true.I think like u said it really is an expedition underneath. They did do a good job with the wheels and other parts.I have red eddie bauer expedition and i hate it.Two days after i got it 1 wheel fell off, within a week they were all off.I am probably going to get the XLT version eventually.I was maybe 11-12 when i got the expedition and i played with models. Now i dont do that anymore i just display them in cases. But its not like i threw it around they broke for no reason as did many other parts.I am not as worried about getting the XLT version cuz i will just display it.

Yep, I think that is correct, the Navigator has the wrong tail-lights (they are unchanged from the Expedition). Not one of AUTOart's best!

Still, I guess we can't expect perfection all the time! (Or can we....

Your right don't expect perfection all the time...but never accept less than perfect either... seems to be a theme amongst collectors.
