Holy s***, the man has collections inside collections!
If you have more pictures just keep'em coming!

Since they have a Jaguar licence I am wondering if they would consider making the XJ220. Also, when could we expect to see other Jaguars on the market, namely cx75 and project 7?

Any possibility of them producing other manufacturers like Koenigsegg? I'd love to see them made in better quality. Autoart doesn't cut it for me.
I completely agree with these, Jaguar has many many models that need to be done, and the XJ220 is at the front of them all!
I asked them about the CX-75 a few years ago and they were considering it, but nothing has been said again.
If you could ask him about Jaguars it would be awesome, I think many collectors are expecting them.

Also, it would be cool if Almost Real could rescue Lamborghini from Autoart, could you please ask him about that?

Thanks!!

The guy who owns Almost Real is called Sum Liu, isn't he? After all, that's why the parent company is called Sumsmodel....

Please share whatever pics you got!
Was about to say that he's also a facebook friend to some of us here (Probably you too Chaim)? Maybe "Sven" is Sum's western name? A lot of my Asian friends have done that especially back in college. Now, I am wondering if it's really Sum that he met?
Awesome if it is.

Nevertheless, PICS PLEASE!!!

Looking at the collection, I like this guy already. He has humble Corgis mixed up with UTs and going on to some custom Martini Ferraris and what not. But the cherry on the icing for me is that Tintin collection in a corner in one of the photos.

[/quote]The Jaguar F-Type SVR in 1/18 would be a blessing.

Even though I know what I'm about to say might be a 1/18 scale pipe dream as I express my input (although I hope I'm wrong on at least one of these suggestions), since you mentioned Koenigsegg, it sure would be great for them to do the Koenigsegg Agera "R" WITH TURBINE WHEELS. If Almost Real did rescue Lamborghini from Autoart, the Islero and Jarama w/operable headlights would be a welcome scene. With Almost Real having a license with Bentley, they ought to make the 2003 Le Mans Winning Bentley Speed 8 and it's sister car WITH FULLY OPENING PARTS, compared to Autoart. Some Spykers and Rimacs would be a bonus.

I completely agree with you.
By the models that they've made until now, I just think the Jaguars are the most obvious and wisest choice.

Sorry this time I didn't get much chance to ask him about upcoming releases. Obviously I can't speak for him (i've only met the man twice) but seems to me Almost-Real is just one of many of his business ventures and interests (he is a motor journalist) so this could be why releases are somewhat sporadic.

Lucky you! I am sure it was a happy time meeting him and talking about the hobby. I would like to know if there is going to be a Japan car model line from Almost Real.
Answer from the owner: For the Japanese car line we are working on the design phase of several classic Japanese SUV and van models, but for now the specific models are still secrets

I can only laugh at this response. I guess people would love to have some old SUV over a Supra, MR2, GTO, Celica, AZ-1, 3000ZX, Sera... Yes, I would definitely take an SUV over any of the other models...
