Here is so far my the last model in my American classics of fifties series: 1950 Oldsmobile 88 Coupe in 1/18 scale by ERTL Authentics. Real car was also nicknamed as "Rocket 88" because it used a new Rocket V8 engine with capacity 4965 cc (303 ci) providing some 135 hp and 343 Nm (253 lbf ft). This car is climed by many as the first American muscle car. The model is really perfect as expected from ERTL Authentics. Below are also some photos of the model with other models in this my series.

I surely find a nice Olds 88 coupe of 1950 or a "Bullet nose" Studebaker some day.

Another great classic Dusan, thanks for sharing your photos.
I have the Rocket 88 in metallic blue, but to be honest I think the grey - and the grey with the black roof - suit this car a lot better.....
