Ordered this one before my self-imposed ban on Crapiante products. This is a new model. It looks like they used some type of craft foil for the decals, but even more, I think they are using wraps on these models.

$150 usd. Sent a note to the seller for refund. This is really bad. The only thing decent on a new Biante is the outer box with my luck.

I think the universe has sent me duds since I sing the praises (well not for the Mustang) of CC.

Not going to dispute the disappointment from Biante you've experienced with their race cars, but their street cars are excellent and competitive with CC based on the few I have. Then again Autoart makes/made a lot of them and they are up to AA standards.

Does it tell you anywhere who made these? Do you have any good Biante race cars? Perhaps there are different manufactures at play here.

Did you check to see if the bottom of the car has any indicator? I believe Biante subcontracts all their diecasts (but could be wrong).

I thought it just had the Biante logo, but I will double check tomorrow.

There were batches of Biante supercar models that popped up cheap last year direct from China, they seemed to be factory seconds. Maybe you're picking up some of these as people move them on?

These were from retailers, but I bet they are factory seconds that these retailers got on the cheap. I am trying to return this one, but the retailer is stalling me.

Yes could be. It's worth asking the question for the next one you intend to purchase, I 'm not sure if anyone has compiled a list of the models that popped up on ebay direct from China. Last year's Bathurst winner has just been released by Biante and early indicators are that it's a good one.

I did stop purchasing them. These were in flight to me, so they arrived at different intervals. I am having trouble returning this one to the retailer, but am still trying to work through it.
