I saw that one last Saturday at the hobby shop. Very cool little bugger. I didn't get very close so to avoid contamination, but it looked nice.

I thought it retired with a crash as it spun in front of the No8 Bently and crashed nose first into the wall?

Still, is a very nice model, who makes it?
And about Maisto, i would have thought that they would have made the 2004 winner, or the Champion team cars or that Gulf car, that would have been a massive seller.

After having e-mailed Maisto some time ago about this subject, I got the following answer from them:
"Sorry, but we won't have a model of the 2004 winning R8 in our 2005 line. We'll add your suggestion to our request list. We can't discuss what we might or might not make but we appreciate your letting us know what you would like."

Don't know about any Gulf version, but I presume that no winner, no Gulf either...
