I saw that one last Saturday at the hobby shop. Very cool little bugger. I didn't get very close so to avoid contamination, but it looked nice.

After having e-mailed Maisto some time ago about this subject, I got the following answer from them: "Sorry, but we won't have a model of the 2004 winning R8 in our 2005 line. We'll add your suggestion to our request list. We can't discuss what we might or might not make but we appreciate your letting us know what you would like."

Don't know about any Gulf version, but I presume that no winner, no Gulf either...
