Very nice model by Minichamps. :cheers

Do you notice any difference in the way you set up your camera for photographing a 1:43 vs. a 1:18? I'm still very much trying to adjust my photoshooting style for 1:43s. It's very "hit & miss" for me right now.

Thanks in advance for any info you can share. :cheers

Thanks :happy

For photographing the 1:43rds, I found that zooming (optical) almost all the way (70-85%) and having macro mode on to be the best. I found that without zooming at all and just holding the camera close to the model, that I couldn't focus on the car at all - too close. If I were to move the camera back so that the car was able to be focused on, the background wasn't all that burly, therefore making the model hard to see. And zooming in all the way I couldn't get the car in focus on the macro mode, If I were to turn macro off, the background wouldn't come out too blurry and again making the model hard to see...
I'm guessing if I get some of those zoom/macro filters (whatever there called), it would make photographing them easier and better, but that'll wait until after the holiday coming up.

This is the second time for photographing 1:43rds (first being the maroon G500), these ones seemed to come out better than the first. I'll have to do some more experimenting see if I can make them any better...
