WOW! Way to go, Eric! :cheers
they would go broke if everyone was like eric. :happytwoLUW said:Congrats Eric! :cheers
Wouldn't it be great if all manufacturers did this every time?
That's what I've experienced also. I guess it's time for another try.wdc said:This is a great story and great for you but unfortunately they are inconsistent. I think it depends on who reads your message. I had their original 1982 Corvette Collectors Edition. The T-Tops on it were messed up and I sent them two messages asking if they could send replacements. Even offered to pay for them or at least postage. Not only didn't I get the tops I never even got the courtesy of a response.
I am a legitamite customer of Autoart. I have purchased many of their models at full price.AAR Gurney said:While it was very commenible that AUTOart supplied you with the parts you needed, I don't think it is fair ask them for parts for a car you bought at a reduced price. If we all did this AUTOart will put a stop to supplying needed parts for 'legitamite' customers who really deserve to have replacement items due to defects or shipping breakage. Revell-Monogram used to have a similar liberal parts replacement program for thier model kits, but it has been changed and now requires a fee , and limits how many parts you can request. If RM feels your parts request it not genuine they will cancel your request. No manufacturer is businesss for 'free'.haty
