AutoArt Lamborghini Questions...

I'm thinking about getting AUTOart's Murc and Gallardo to round out my Lambo collection. I've got a question. I've never seen either in person, and I have read that their grills are simulated like Beanstalks GT40 Concept (clear plastic with black paint to simulate openings).

I'm just wanting some advice. I know they aren't in the Millenium division, but, how do the grills look up close and personal? I wasn't impress'd with Beanstalks version, and yes, like comparing apples to oranges :)

So, being detail focused, how do the grills come across? Are their any good pic's of this? I'd appreciate any feedback!
Thanks alot.

AUTOart's Murciélago has a bit better grilles than that. They're not perforated, but actually textured matt transparent plastic ( :confused ), I think even with black highlights printed on the grilles (can't see it properly).
The Gallardo though does have mesh grille (perforated). Just look at Richard's great B/W pics :cheers
The Murci, being an older mold, has the simulated grill (I don't know about the Aniversary Edition), but the Gallardo has the read deal. Though I think both are great models.
I'm actually considering the 40th Murc...just don't know if it's really worth 30 xtra bucks (I've no need for the case or the baby car)....anyone know, other than it being limited to 2000 copies, if, other than the paint, there are other things about the actual car that makes it better than the AUTOart Murc's that aren't the 40th?
I saw that the 40th has a seperate Lamborghini logo in the front hood unlike regular AUTOart Murcis. Also it has some more carbon fibre accents and a different exhaust system. for more details, ask 40th owners :cheers
40th Murc owners? Other than being limited to 2000 and the color, is there anything "better" about this one over AUTOart's other Murc's? I'd appreciate any feedback!
Thanks
The rims and interior is different on the 40th also. I'd personally go with the 40th; it’s a beautiful model, color, rims, interior.
Well...I took the plunge (gulp) :scared and ordered the 40th next day air. :danbanna Jeez...but, I got it for 70 bucks, which is still below AUTOart's MSRP of 85 for their regular milenium division. I can't wait for this beauty. Got his silver baby brother also...gosh, I came back with a vengance. Anyone know a bankruptcy lawyer? :lol

Eric, your pic's are what convinced me to get it. Thanks! :cool1
Haha, congrats! Nice price too. You won't regret it

wait wait wait!!! u got a 40th for less then the price of a millenium???
Less than the Millenium's MSRP of $85.00. I got mine for 70 from please support DX Advertisers!. But of course, you can get Milleniums for $60.00 most places. But I think it was still a good deal...

But on the other hand, I wanted AUTOart's 53 Corvette so bad, I got it from Asheville Diecast (a beautiful hour drive away) for $70...
u got a GREAT deal on that i'm sure!!! for that price i wldn't even need to think about it....

i asked around the shop i frequent here and was told it wld cost over SGD$200 to get it over here.... :(
Thats almost USD120.....sigh

i;m hoping my HongKong trip will be fruitful and reap in cars i can never find here for a good price
Yeah, but I get so desperate to get it that I paid 30 bucks for next day air...so...well, all in the eyes of the beholder I guess :)
One quick question: are the front and rear grills for real or are they painted acrylic as in the normal edition?
:feedback
I haven't received mine yet, but I'm under the impression that they are the painted acrylic...but theres always hope!

I got the 40th just for the color, it looks awesome, at least from the pics
Undoubtly (at lest in my opinion) the 40th is the coolest color. If I hadn't a Murci already I would consider it, even it being more expensive.
I'm going crazy here! I bought my 2 new AUTOart Murc's (40th and a Gallardo) yesterday, had them shipped out yesterday next day air...

and their still not here!! :nicejob

Every car noise I hear outside, I find myself lookin out the window :eek:hmy ...is it UPS and Fedex??? Where are my cars? I want them NOW!

Does anyone else suffer from this serious diecast mental disorder? Of course, I'm not crazy, but probably alittle OCD! I think we need a diecast annonymous group so that everyone that suffers from internetitus-and-it-aint-here-now syndrome can get together for serious help!

I was going through the same thing as I am expecting some packages as well. After contacting the sellers and getting tracking numbers, I learned they will be here on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday of next week.

Waiting is the hardest part :WTF
