I want a 348 Spider so bad that I decided to turn a Bburago Ferrari 348tb into one...
This is the most difficult project I tried so far.
It came in earlier today looking like this:

So far the roof has come off and I filled the gaps it left. Still loads of work to do..

With the rerelease of the red F355 Spyder, you should be able to find some floating around for cheap. Good luck and keep us posted! I'm interested to see how this turns out. :cheers

Well there we go, it was ready for the first coat of paint.
I was being careful, but it started running down as a drop. It looks terrible now, I think I'm done with this one. Painting just isn't my thing... :cry

Like they said, rub it down, strip it down and give it another go!!! Spray painting is not my strongest talent. I've ruined a couple. . .

Time for an update on this. I stripped the whole car down to bare metal and I'm gonna try it with primer this time.

So far the doors and bonnet have been primed, but now I'm outta primer. Guess what, I can't afford a new can! :lol :lol ullhair

I'll soon have some new pictures up!
