The model itself is like a beautiful museum piece and it is presented as such! Very tastefully displayed, well done! 👏👏👏👏👏
Thanks a lot guys!
Glad you like the new display too, Clement!
It is just this museum like look and feel that I wanted to create here...

Here is a quick taste of similar scale models you may want to add to this beauty.
Thanks Darren!
Of course I had already a closer look to the Daimler Reitwagen - not fully convinced yet.
The Ford Quadricycle seems very nice too but what is this motorcycle on the right?
Looks like a Harley from ~1910? Slightly smaller scale like 1/10 maybe?

Hi Dirk, yes it is in the 1/10th scale but it too has Great detail to it. It's where HD started out.

Ohh that's a lovely color for that model!(y)

Also the stance looks killer! Looks so good! Did you lower it, or it came like that? My 458 in red is a bit higher at the front.

Excellent pics as always! (y)
Amazing shots of the 458! Especially the 2nd one! Congrats!!!
Thanks a lot, gentlemen - glad you like it!!

@cwb: Well spotted - we should call you “eagle-eye“! ;)
Yep, I lowered the front a bit to get the right stance.
To me it seems that almost all HW 458 are sitting too high especially on their front wheels. :(

BTW: The model also has replaced the stupid HWE half windows by full windows…

My next model is the AMG GT-S by AUTOart.
There has been lots of discussions here and elsewhere about AA's so-called composite models. Looking at this example I can say to me this one is fully convincing:
Yes - it lacks a bit the heavy, precious feeling when you hold it. But to be honest how often and how do you hold a model in your hands?
However the shape is 100% crisp and sharp, panel gaps are really tight and the paint is great. (y)
And still it is fully opening...

The colour is nice and interesting - called "Solarbeam".
Something between yellow and gold and the appearance depends from the light.
Kind of difficult to capture with the camera - but I hope I could do justice to it.

Enjoy the pics:
